Love Lost and Found

Hi there, everyone,

I submitted a story to the Applause section of the Californian a while ago, and it is on the site now! Give it a read and tell me what you think. They messed up some of the punctuation and grammar when they printed it, and of course they spelled my last name wrong (everyone does!) but I am excited about it. Thank you all for your kind words.

Oh, sage, I am so very sorry for your horrible loss!!!!  :(  I truly thought I would die when I lost my Jordan. I still have bad times when I feel like I cannot go on without him. He was my joy, the only truly selfless person I have ever known. I started attending a support group for bereaved parents a while ago here in Bakersfield. It is called the Compassionate Friends. They have helped me immensely, and continue to do so. I encourage you to try it. I can tell you where and when they meet. As much as my new family has done for me, there are times when you need to talk to another bereaved parent, who truly understands the road you are on. I wish you peace.
