God just called me on his new Parrot cell phone (everything is hands-free where he lives). Maybe the ad went a little overboard, but that's their right.  It is free speech.  If people were offended by it, I hope they stop buying their cars from them.  Boycott them.  It's your right to assemble and speak out too.  Keep it non-violent and go on with it.

The owner of of the auto dealership(s) was recently interviewed by mainstream news sources wherein he apologized for the ad which he confirms was created by a Midwestern ad agency that arranged for airing of the spot and said that he had not seen heard it prior to its airing.

The ad was discontinued.

The added christiopathic hyperbole merely reflects the religious extremist mission to inextricably link god and patriotism.

The notion that patriotism and non-Christianity are somehow mutually exclusive is at best overzealous, but right in line with the far right evangelical agenda.
