“Did you know that there are people in this country who want prayer out of schools, “Under God” out of the Pledge, and “In God We Trust” to be taken off our money?

“But did you know that 86 percent of Americans say they believe in God? Now, since we all know that 86 out of every 100 of us are Christians who believe in God, we at Kieffe and Sons Ford wonder why we don’t just tell the other 14 percent to sit down and shut up.

"I guess maybe I just offended 14 percent of the people who are listening to this message. Well, if that is the case, then I say that’s tough; this is America, folks — it’s called free speech. And none of us at Kieffe and Sons Ford are afraid to speak up. Kieffe and Sons Ford on Sierra Highway in Mojave and Rosamond: if we don’t see you today, by the grace of God, we’ll be here tomorrow.”

WE'RE NOT GOING TO BE PUSHED AROUND ANYMORE!  WE'RE TIRED OF BEING TOLD WE'RE WRONG BECAUSE ALL WE WANT TO DO IS WORK AND BE LEFT ALONE!  NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR LIBERALS SPEAK THEIR HATE ANYMORE!

SHUT UP!  SHUT YOUR FILTHY STUPID ARROGANT WUSSY MOUTHS!

IT'S ONE NATION UNDER GOD INDIVISIBLE!

American Indians, Kenyans and many others believe there are four races of mankind. The Bible, however, seems to state that there are only three races of man. These races apparently came from Noah's three sons who survived the Genesis Flood: Shem ('white' race), Ham ('black' race) and Japheth ('yellow' race). Are there three or four races of mankind? Where did the 'red' race (Indians, etc.) come from?

Those whose formal field of study is racial characteristics have proven that many of the North American “Indians” are descended from Asiatic people.

Much of today’s speculation is of two primary origins:

Those who are racist in their ideology, believing that one group of people is superior to others because of the color of their skin or the texture of their hair.

Those who want to merge all people together, regardless of cultural differences, out of “political correctness”.

Many of those who nominally believe the Bible do not recognize that Moses married a woman whose skin was black and the Bible gives no restrictions on racial “mixing”. The Bible DOES warn against believers marrying and taking up the habits of unbelievers but that’s about the extent of Bible teaching in the area of “race”.

The real truth is that all of mankind have the opportunity to become sons of God through the grace of God and the blood of our Savior, Jesus.

God created this universe, this world and everyone in it. People exist in their variety because God designed it that way. Put simply, racism is a criticism of His handiwork.

If you told me that you did not like me because of some physical characteristic I have, I might say: "Look buddy, your beef is really with the One that created me - it has nothing to do with me. I had nothing to do with creating myself! I can't change a characteristic you don't like just because you ask me to. Like you, I did not ask to be on this planet and I did not ask to have the characteristics I have. If you do not like me that’s between you and God! Complain to Him!"

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. "

Castle & Cooke wanted the increase permitted to bring a Target because the high-end retailers it originally wanted don't see Bakersfield as desirable enough.

Castle & Cooke was unable to get one concession — the council agreed to require the company to pay for all the improvements to Buena Vista Road. Castle & Cooke had hoped the city would pay for the improvements on the side of the street bordering the park.

The WinCo was opposed by a group calling itself Citizens for Responsible Growth, which sent a binder of objections to the city on Tuesday and then sent San Francisco lawyer John Farrow to the meeting.

Farrow said the environmental impact report on the project was flawed, with bad analysis of traffic, possible soil contamination, noise and urban decay.

“I understand that the store will not be located near any homes, and will help bring other badly needed shops to the center,” said another letter, this one sent by 31 neighbors, including seven workers at a single company. The line echoes Castle & Cooke’s point that the upscale retail it’s trying to bring needs an anchor tenant to bring life to the shopping center.

I live in Delano and I have to drive for an hour to get to a department store.  Why should I care if residents are inconvenienced for ten minutes?

Please, somebody give me one arguement against city development that is NOT rooted in environmental carbon credit wako hoursecrap.  One solid arguement that would hold up against this plan.  Anything.  Please.  Otherwise shut up and go shopping.  Take freedom and like it.

There she blows, laying parallel of her presidential struggle to the Mexican drug wars currently underway. Insensitive maybe, but crazy like a shark. This remark alone will win California and certainly the Hispanic vote in Arizona.

"My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don't understand it," she said, dismissing calls to drop out.

Any comments about assassination and the primary contest are especially sensitive because Obama is the first African-American to advance so far in the race for the White House and he has faced threats, congressional sources have said.

Secret Service protection was given to Obama earlier than it had ever been authorized for a presidential candidate, and he always travels with a heavy security detail.

Robert Kennedy, the younger brother of President John F. Kennedy, was gunned down in 1968 after winning California's Democratic presidential primary. The New York senator had been a hero of the left for his civil-rights agenda and his calls to end the Vietnam War.

Three Democratic lawmakers who spoke at a briefing Wednesday about alleged anti-immigrant media coverage were not aware of a recent State Department travel alert warning Americans about military-like "combat" along the southern U.S. border in Mexico and that Americans are being kidnapped and murdered there.

"The situation in northern Mexico remains very fluid; the location and timing of future armed engagements there cannot be predicted," said the State Department alert. "Armed robberies and carjackings, apparently unconnected to the narcotics-related violence, have increased in Tijuana and Ciudad Juarez. Dozens of U.S. citizens were kidnapped and/or murdered in Tijuana in 2007."

Reps. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) and Hilda Solis (D-Calif.) both spoke to Cybercast News Service after the briefing and said they had no knowledge of the travel alert but were aware of the volatility along the U.S. southern border.

"I've read different reports of the violence in Mexico, and I am a strong advocate for cracking down on the violence, and I'm very concerned about the murder of women," Solis said. "But I'm more concerned about people having their civil rights violated here."

"I haven't seen the travel alert, but I'm going to take a look at it," Gutierrez said. "But does it surprise me? It doesn't surprise me."

Gutierrez blamed drug use in the United States for some of the violence.

"We are the consumers," he said. "We are the cause."

Hitler was given endorsement from the Catholic Church at the time and allowed to come into power.

Much like Rev. Jeremiah Wright and the United Trinity Church has given endorsement to Barack Hussein Obama.

27 Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If anyone hits you on the cheek, offer the other also. And if anyone takes away your coat, don't hold back your shirt either.
30 Give to everyone who asks from you, and from one who takes away your things, don't ask for them back. 31 Just as you want others to do for you, do the same for them.

32 If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 If you do [what is] good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.

34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners to be repaid in full.

35 But love your enemies, do [what is] good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is gracious to the ungrateful and evil. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

Our experience tells us that people do not return from the grave. At the heart of our desolation when death strikes is the awful certainty that in this life we will not see our loved ones again. We attend funerals to honor their memory and grieve our loss, but we do not expect to be greeted at the door by the person who has died.

In light of this, it should not seem surprising that Jesus’ disciples were reluctant to believe that He had risen from the dead. Following the testimony of the women who had seen an angel, an empty tomb, and Jesus Himself (Matt. 28:1-10), “the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted” (vv.16-17).

Among those who were closest to the Lord and had heard His remarkable teaching and witnessed His powerful miracles, some doubted that Jesus was actually alive again. But the honest doubts of the disciples soon turned to joy and hope as they embraced the reality of their risen Lord.

What do we doubt about Jesus today? Does our experience tell us that our past mistakes, present struggles, or future prospects can’t be changed? With fresh memories of Easter, let’s trust that He can do all things. — David C. McCasland

Where Jesus reigns there is no fear,
No restless doubt, no hopeless tear,
No raging sea nor tempest dread,
But quietness and calm instead. —Anon.

One look to Calvary can dispel your doubts.

A full-scale civil war is raging in Mexico -- and few are paying attention.

Drug cartels seeking to keep control over huge swathes of Mexico have been on a rampage. In the past two weeks alone, at least 10 police officials have been murdered -- including the chief of Mexico's federal police, Edgar Millan.

The cartels play by practically no rules. Beheadings, a technique used by Muslim terrorists, is commonly employed against enemies of the cartels.

Said Dobbs "Mexico is the primary source of methamphetamines, marijuana, cocaine and heroin into the United States. So, as you listen to open borders advocates and -- please consider that they're responsible, in part, for continuing a losing role on our part in the drug war.

"Well, these drug wars that are raging along our border with Mexico have a direct and devastating impact on young people in this country. More of our teenagers use marijuana than all other illegal drugs combined. The vast majority of that marijuana, as I said, comes across our open border with Mexico."

My own words in a different color:

While this article has a negative slant toward the mainstream, being a fusionist conservative is something I strive to do. The United States was founded upon the principals of the free and open proliferation of profit motive. Principals inherent of fusionism provide growth and stability otherwise any market would be a ride straight into the ground. Fusionism is a struggle to bring a bigger piece of the pie to everybody.

Fusionism was the idea that the three wings of conservatism could not only find common cause but could cobble themselves together into a semi-integrated ideology. The theory was that the religionists would defend traditional American values, which would provide cultural support for the ideals of limited government and American patriotism.

Buckley's central contribution was to forge an alliance between religious traditionalists, pro-free-marketers, and foreign policy hawks. National Review describes this task as convincing "anti-Communists, traditionalists, constitutionalists, and enthusiasts for free markets" to "all...take shelter under the same tent."

Ben Stein has a dangerous idea. His idea is that professors and teachers who express skepticism about Darwinism are likely to find themselves not granted tenure, castigated and ridiculed, and disqualified from the opportunity to have research papers published.

Stein documents this in his new movie "Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed." As you would expect, it is drawing highly critical reviews from the usual suspects. One agitated reviewer on a blog said the movie was filled with half-truths and outright lies. It would be interesting to see what this same source had to say about the latest documentary movies promoted by Al Gore and Michael Moore.

Having reviewed the movie myself, it appeared that Stein was trying to make the case for academic freedom, not attempted to convert anyone to a particular ideological position. Stein, in fact, never makes it known what particular beliefs he holds personally, he merely makes it known that he is disgusted by the idea that someone could lose their job over honest doubts about Darwinism.
