California May Grant Illegal Aliens Driver's Licenses
When most States are passing laws to discourage illegal immigration good old California wants to pass laws to encourage illegal immigration......Senator Gilbert Cedillo ( D-Los Angeles ) Is a Traitor and a a** and is a prime example of what is wrong with California. Rewarding illegal behavior is wrong.....Cedillo is wrong ! September 15, 2008 Schwarzenegger has vetoed legislation similar to S.B. 60 in the past. On October 7, 2005, the Governor stopped another Cedillo-sponsored bill that was "similar" to S.B. 60. (Senator Gilbert Cedillo's History of the Driver's License Bill) Schwarzenegger also vetoed a comparable Cedillo bill on September 28, 2006. (Id.) 9 comments from 7 users

Yeah i have to agree with that one. Leave it to California. I don't understand why a politician is pushing to help people that can't vote that is not politics :) posted by

If the state is going to be a haven for illegals, why bother with a border? If Pedro wants a driver license he'll have to submit to picture and fingerprint and address. He will also be required to show proof of insurance and auto registration to own a car. If he shows ID people will immediately know he's illegal. I don't think the average illegal is going to want to do that. posted by

He's not rewarding illegal behavior. He's rewarding responsible behavior. The irresponsible ones won't get driver's licenses, or insurance. The responsible ones will. posted by
