The Post Office TOO Busy? Think about this option...
Yesterday I wanted to mail a package. Went to the Stockdale post office... OH MY GOSH.. The line was a block long.

I don't wait in lines... What did I do?

I went to the UPS store on California, ONE person in line. By the time I left there was five.

The UPS store does MORE then UPS. They also do Postal. I spoke with one of my customers and she did not know that. So I figured I would share this info with you.

The UPS store will push UPS shipping, but you just need to say "I want it to go out in the US mail". You can ship, buy stamps.. what ever you need, they do.

Before standing in line at the US post office, drive by a UPS store and see what the line is like there. And no, I don't work for them. I just don't like lines.

Happy Holidays.

Posting about UPS not having lines will surely land you in a line at the UPS stores ;-)

I am a retired Postal employee.  Just a reminder that you will pay for the convenience of the UPS Store.  A Post Office $.41 stamp at the UPS store is more than $.41.  You can try one of the Contract Postal Units.  They are privately run.  I go to Russo's in the Marketplace.  There, a $.41 stamp is still $.41.

Its crazy! went back to the ups store to mail packages, two people in line

drove by the usps, hundreds in line. why? why would you stand in line?

why do people torture themselves?

usps.com offers free printing of postage and PICKUP at your door (if you don't want to stand in line)

mailing this year was a breeze, no complaints here and trying to share my secret, no one listens

happy standing around holidays

CRAZY PEOPLE! Yesterday was my last day to ship packages. It was a breeze, I avoided the post office. Lucky for me, my packages were shipped to no place further then Modesto but still, it was a breeze to ship.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR to the crazy people too. And for them sane people, ISNT CHRISTMAS GREAT?!
