No more gray ... or hair!
Well, I did it. I got my hair chopped off. Thank you Jennifer Carder at Allure on 17th Street for a mah-valeous 'do! I love it!

Here are the "after" photos -- what a difference!

My 14" ponytail is in a bag in my purse, waiting for me to mail if off to Locks of Love, so someone who needs it can have a wig.

I feel so free! And summery! Yeah!

I LOVE the new hairdo!! You look ultra glam!

I think it's awesome you're giving your hair to locks of love!

Your new hairdo looks nice and what a generous loving thing to do to donate your hair to locks of love.

Next: contact  lenses. I personally think that will make you look even more fabulous!

I may be brave enough to have my hair cut and dyed, but sticking things on my eyeball doesn't sound like fun :) Thanks for the suggestion though ... maybe someday. I have thought about it ...

I can't do laser surgery, though, cuz I have astygmatism.

Nice look.  Though I don't like blond hair as a rule...(sorry Sharon.)

Great Look. Had that same cut back in 1967...lol , it was called "the Sassoon"(sp?) after the hair dresser, shampoo guy.

The contact specialists at Dr. Shulers office are very supportive in helping you with contacts. Since Dr. Shuler just sold his business to his partner they may let you do a story on it for free contacts.

Thanks for the referral. However, journalists have strict codes of ethics preventing us from receiving any item or service for free in return for writing a story. I'm actually heading up our newsroom ethics committee right now, and we are looking to tighten our policies regarding gifts and gratuities even further. We would never want to give the impression that our journalistic integrity is available for a price.
