Anyone want a free bird with cage, toys, food and crushed oyster shells? I found Otis the parakeet a year ago crossing the road at the fairgrounds. I took him home in my jacket and he has whistled merry tunes in my home ever since. Unfortunately, I can't keep him anymore. He loves kissing himself in his mirror, which could mean he's ready for a friend or that he's a narcissist. I don't know how he would do around other birds, but I'm sure he could use a good preening. He's a cutie pie, but not friendly. This is not the kind of bird you can hold and snuggle with. But he does sing to you and talks to the birds outside. If you want him, he's yours. Just let me know.
