ATT&T gets a Zero
First, when you call AT&T you can expect to spend over an hour on hold just to speak to a human being. This was never the case with SBC. Furthermore, they billed me for both dial up and high speed internet at the same time. I called to cancel my long distance service and was charged $7.00 for the privelege. If you ask for a copy of your bill, they charge you $5.00.When I called to disconnect mylong distance service, it was never disconnected. They left it on without my OK and now they want another seven dollars to disconnect. I found out that if you want to clear something up, you have to complain to the corporate headquarters at 1-800-791-6661. They finally cleared up my issues, but it took over a month. In a related story, they shipped me a new DSL modem to replace a defective one. ATT&T did ship the package in a timely manner, but the shipping company took almost two weeks to deliver it. It was shipped second day air, but the shipping company with the turd brown trucks lost it between Ontario CA and Bakersfield. They sent the package to somewhere in Oregon before admitting it was lost in the system. They ship packages all over the world, but can't seem to send a package 160 miles. UPS earns a zero. In my next story, I will be reporting on a couple of corporate heroes, namely Ranch Market and Von's. . 1 comments from 1 users

AT&T did not but SBC and Cingular, SBC bought out AT&T and they already owned 60 of Cingular which they aquired the rest when they bought out Bellsouth, so you actually are still dealing with SBC now the "new AT&T".
