jdharris1945 - > Issues of the 21st Century -> Net-Zero is aptly named
Net-Zero is aptly named

I tried NetZero for over a week. I had major problrms with pop-up ads  THey sent me a Norton Security disk. Norton Security prompltlylocked up my compuyrt. I called in my friend who is a thiryy year technician for Dell and Radio Shack, but it took hin all day to kill Norton Security

Then I wemt to AT&T Yahoo and cancelled NetZero. I was promised one month free with NetZero, nut at the end of the month, they tried to geet $13.00 from my checking account. I never gave them permission to access my bank acccounit   I   gve my bank instructions not to pay. Then they tried to bill my phone company. bit the phoneompany wouldn't pay either,

Add to this lousy service and this company earns its  name:Net- ZERO.

Oddly enough NetZero worked better for me when I was on the free version.  I started getting kicked off regularly when I went to the paid service.

The District Attorneys Office has an attorney that handles these cases : John Mitchell

I suggest you call and report this to him.

That's exactly what happened to me. SBC Yahoo DSL at $14.99/month works great.
