LQ's Performing Arts Center is more than just a place where people can come and learn how to dance, sing, or act. It's a Family! We dance together, we travel together, we grow together, and we experience life together. Each and every student means something to me, and it has become my duty to make sure that LQ's Performing Arts Center continues to be something to them. Please keep on Supporting LQ's so that I could make that possible!

LQ's Performing Arts Center would like to be placed in a position on August 22nd, to offer the kids in our community with free school supplies. This "Back 2 School" Block Party Event will take place on the streets that are located adjacent to the LQ's PerformingArtsCenter's physical location (1300 19th Street, Bakersfield, CA93301).
From the hours of 11a-4p, the kids of the community will be able to partake in the various forms of entertainment (dance performances, motivational speakers, musical performances, magician presentations, and games), face painting, and FREE performing arts instructional classes.
On top of that, each child will be able to receive free food, drinks, and school supplies. It is our hope at LQ's Performing Arts Center to be able to create a fun, enjoyable, motivational, and memorable day that each child can experience before they return to school on August 24th.
If we could do our part in making sure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by the time school starts, then we can help set the foundation for a bright future. LQ's Performing Arts Center would like to incorporate the different companies that have benefited from the parents of these kids. We are asking everyone to lend a hand with a monetary donation, in which would be used to purchase the necessary school supplies, entertainment, food, and street permit to host the event.
