Going back to college
With Cal State Bakersfield making the move to Division I, I'll be delving into the personalities behind the teams that make up the Roadrunners' athletic department to go along with interesting tidbits that don't make it into our daily coverage. Also check in for periodic blurbs on what's going on at Bakersfield College.

Bad news for BC football
Dashan Miller has a broken right arm, according to BC football coach Jeff Chudy. Miller was scheduled to see an orthopedist Tuesday. Chudy said Miller is expected to miss at least four weeks, but he is not out for the season.
Miller has been clutch this year for the Renegades, making some big catches during the game-winning drive against El Camino. But, more than his ability to catch passes, the 'Gades will miss his blocking. At 6-foot, 190 pounds, Miller has helped spring big runs and free up space for Brandon Banks on bubble screens.
Without Miller, I would expect even better numbers from Banks and Attrail Snipes. It will also give sophomore Josh Little and freshman William Beathia more snaps as well.
