BC drops out of first place in poll
Bakersfield College dropped out of the top spot in the J.C. Grid-Wire/JCfootball.com top 25 rankings this week. The Renegades didn't do anything to hurt their cause, but it appears the bye week was enough to knock them out of the top spot. Mississippi Gulf Coast is 6-0.

Game time was changed for a HS football game that night....That is why the game was moved to 2pm/

Us old guys who watch BC now can't believe our eyeballs! They shotgun almost every play, look like an SEC team! Not that thats a bad thing you understand. We used to be a few yards and a cloud of dust and now its bing bang boom - end zone! pass, pass, pass. By emulating the SEC I think BC has now surpassed the teams of the South, so just watch BC climb past Miss Gulf Coast next week! Just for clarification -- BC is better than almost any year I've seen them! Even back in the mid 70's!
