A Verizon wireless subscriber sent in this photo of a crash caused by a suspected drunk driver in East Bakersfield. According to the user who sent this in, the white truck hit a car occupied by a woman with small children, then ran into a parked car and an apartment building. Sunrise at 7 a.m. today, looking west from Liberty High School and shot with a Droid phone. For about 5 minutes, the sun rising over the southern Sierra and Tehachapi Mountains made it look like the hills were on fire. Several minutes after this shot was taken, the skies darkened, snuffing out the bright orange. Feel free to share your own weather photos. We know there's some crazy stuff going on outside.
