Steven Mayer took these photos in the Eye Street parking garage. He had this to say:

Why do drivers of monster trucks park in compact only spaces in parking garages? Do they want their fenders bent?

And with the second photo:

Long-bed pickups don't fit here.

Go Mobile took our message on the road Sunday to share our innovations with a group of journalists from around the world at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. To get their feet wet as mobile photographers — or as we like to call you, MoPhos — we challenged the journalists to take photos around Berkeley during this week and text them to us to post on this blog. Check back to see what they send in!

As for you MoPhos in Bakersfield — let's give our Berkeley cohorts a taste of our town! Text us your photos around Bakersfield to mobile@bakersfield.com and we'll post them to this blog. Call it a Sister City MoPho Project. What can Bakersfield and Berkeley teach each other?

Thousands of people were out at Relay for Life at Cal State Bakersfield this weekend, raising money and awareness for cancer research. Participants snapped photos with their cell phones and some texted them to us for this online gallery.

If you were out at Relay, text your cell phone pictures to mobile@bakersfield.com.

Also, lots of people stopped by the Bakersfield.com booth Saturday for live blogging about their experiences at Relay. Check out their stories at www.bakersfield.com/yourwords.
