What was your opinion of "SiCKO," Mark?

You know you really matter when there is a giant closet industry hell bent on trying to refute everything you say, and able to  get publicity for  doing so.  It was just reported that premiums  for health care  rose over 6% from the previous year's record levels and that an additional 2.8 million Americans found themselves uninsured over the previous year's calculations.  Americans are living longer than ever, but rank well below over thirty other nations for life expectancy. We all know where we rank on the world's health care chart, right above Cuba, for  quality care. Only we spend  nearly $7,000 more per person to get that quality experience than the Cubans do. Keep on posting all those critics of Michael Moore, and keep voting Republican, to make sure insurance companies remain in charge.

Three out of every ten health-care dollars are spent moving paper between doctors and insurance companies.

I heard that Sicko has brought in just $4 million total. Is that true?

Do you have a cite to any statements Moore has made indicating he doesn't want anyone to see the documentary, or is it purely your opinionating?

I heard that Sicko has brought in just $4 million total.

In per theatre gross, Sicko held the lead for several weeks.

It was also in limited release.

$24 million over the first twelve weeks, plus over $4 million international.  It did $4 million the second week (after the limited release.)  And that's before DVD sales.

.

Certainly not in the "F-9/11" category, which did $222+ million.  But then again, it's a movie about medical insurance.

I refuse to see anything Michael Moore makes. I won't help line his pockets. I watched Bowling for Columbine and realized what it is he does. His films are NOT documentaries(He admitted Farenheit 911 was NOT a documentary)but rather his way of manipulating facts and using quotes and clips out of context to represent his view. I could do the same thing with almost any issue, but I prefer to be straight up. I despise manipulation and deceit. I don't need that bloated pig to tell me that our health care system is a mess, but when I hear people whine about a dollar a year increase in local taxes to fix roads that they constantly complain(and rightly so)about, I wonder how they will react to the federal tax hikes nationalized(thats what it will be)health care will bring about. I know, I know..The people proposing the plans to make it happen say taxes wont have to go up, but I remember a certain Republican saying "read my lips". Well, I have figured out that it does no good to read the lips of a politician because they are all talking out their a$$es!
