Hell is hot, Bakersfield is hotter :)
No, but seriously, isn't it a little too early to be this hot?? Or am I just naive being new to the area? :) 7 comments from 4 users

WAAAAYYYY too friggin' early!!!! I shudder to think what July and August will be like if it is this bad now. Here's a funny one: when my son graduated from HS last June 6th in Tehachapi, it was 51 degrees outside and windy as hell. My parents came out for it and they borrowed winter hats, coats and gloves to attend the (outside) commencement. Hard to imagine now, isn't it? posted by

Anyone interested in average temps in Baks can go to this website and click by month. Today wasn't all that much hotter than Mays in the past. It will go up..then come down..then go up..and so on until it goes up and we start to broil. Check it out. http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/hnx... posted by

Gonna be another hot one today...anyone read the predictions yet? And the Peddlers Fair is this weekend. I'm going today but early in and early out is my guess. Am I nuts or what? posted by

For those of you who didn't look at the chart (link) you should give it a peek. It has more stats on local weather historically than any I've seen. Great information if you're just curious or want to campare today with 50-60 years ago.
