Values Voter Summit looms -- no waffles allowed
For those itching to do something that will make San Francisco seem so far away, may I suggest attending the upcoming Values Voter Summit? Last year's summit had a bit of a kerfuffle instigated by some atheists who made a mountain out of a molehill in claiming that some Obama Waffles being hawked at the summit were racist. Still there should be plenty of other jokes made at the expense of the lefties and a good time had by all. You may want to check out the "special guest" at the bottom right among the luminaries. Hey, if "President" Obama and his team can use Photoshop to doctor the facsimile of his birth certificate for posting on the web to deceive the sheeple, so can I. 16 comments from 8 users

Boy, I bet the Washington hookers are dreading this event. Lots and *LOTS* of overtime, and those "values" guys are into some *WEIRD* stuff. Just ask Falafel Boy O'Reilly and Diaper Dave Vitter. I'm glad you managed to get the photo lineup from *AFTER* their dropping Mark Sanford as a potential featured speaker. That would've been awkward for you. posted by

What's interesting, Witters? There are a few people pictured there who would want me dead or in prison for my faith.

And several who, if their sexual orientation and/or practices should become common knowledge (like Sanford's did) would be shunned by their fellow "values" people. I'm especially suspicious of that guy in the Knights Templar helmet. posted by

There are people in that picture who, if they could, would force Christianity on everyone--including one of their own, the "unperfected Jew" (words by Ann Coulter) Ben Stein. posted by

Stein has much in common with those Washington hookers I referenced above. But he does give his clients good service. Take "Expelled," for example. Take it far away and burn it, without inhaling the fumes. posted by

pax: With respect, I don't believe we can lump all those "luminaries" in the same bright light. Or tar them with the same brush. Or presume that their views are as one. Or that they are interchangeable. Or that all conservatives agree with all of them all the time. Maybe I'm just taking it too seriously, but I see that others may have done the same. posted by

Pax and his buddies were involved in a drive-by at my house earlier today. When I was struttin' around in the front yard in my thong and puffing away on a cigar they drove by and threw a bunch of little green bibles at me. You ever taken a ltitle green bible in the eye? It BURNS! posted by

Guess they'll be crossing another Repubwhigan governor off the featured-speakers list, eh, Pax? Maybe she and Mark Sanford can compare notes on their abortive (oops, wrong word) abbreviated national careers... posted by

Can you just get off the wordplay, Random? Guess you think it's really clever to say "Repubwhigan" now that Shrub and McWhateveryousaid are left in the dust. Let. It. Go. Stop. Being. Such. A. Jerk.

Whatever. I don't refer to anyone in a way that is negative. I don't say dems, libs, leftys, etc. I don't play around with Obama's name and I always try to address the Democrats with respect. Something that the more liberal contributors can't manage to do (treat others with respect, that is).
