"These are human beings ... thrown out in the trash."
Meet the woman who may have taken half of the graphic photos we've seen ... and we're not talking about the Holocaust here. Warning: not for the faint of heart: http://www.lifesitenews.com... 10 comments from 5 users

For those who can't stand to see hellish pictures, then you may want to see heavenly ones, courtesy of another photographer: For the story:http://www.lifesitenews.com... For the pictures: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/... posted by

Here's one more to ponder as we are in the midst of the 40 Days for Life campaign -- an abortionist telling of her experience in murdering an 18-week-old fetus while she was pregnant herself with an 18-month-old fetus kicking in her womb: http://www.lifesitenews.com... Her last point was ridiculous though. That mindset would be akin to the Nazis snuffing out the Jews in a gas chamber made to look like a spa in a five-star hotel. posted by

pax: I'm not going to look at the pictures -- I'm pretty sure I know in advance what they'd look like. This is a problem that won't be solved in the courts or in newspapers or in Congress or by presidential decree, or in blogs. It's a subject that is probably more polarizing than any other, except possibly for the proper sentence for child predators. Arguing about this problem is not going to make it go away, I'm sad to say. If it were so, it would have been solved by now. If your blog prevents one child from being "thrown away," however, perhaps it has served its purpose. Who am I to say? posted by

Alicen, at least look at the heavenly pictures and be awed by God's creations and wonder how anyone except those who hate God would want to destroy them. With God, all things are possible, including sending abortion back to hell where it came from. posted by

pax: every day of my life I'm awed by God's creations. I'm an avid bird-watcher -- of the birds that stop at our water bowl to drink and that make use of the feeder. Those, too, that make good use of the berries produced by a viburnum at the end of the deck. The berries were just perfect a week or so ago, and the yard has been loaded with bluebirds, finches, robins, cardinals and sparrows. The colors of the leaves are nothing but spectacular this time of year. Some haven't begun to turn yet; others have already flown the coop, so to speak. There are family pictures on the wall behind my desk, just beyond my monitor, and I make frequent contact with all those there -- some still here on this mortal coil, some departed. They're all beautiful, too. Even pictures of me as a kid. Tolerance is something to be desired, but also not something always to be expected. I'm pleasantly surprised to see tolerance of any kind anywhere. I'm just intolerant of intolerance. I think it's a good thing God is more tolerant than I am. posted by

I am ashamed over the abortion issue. As a pro-life liberal, I have felt as though, this issue has been the Democratic Party's great hypocrisy. How is it we can fight for the poor, disabled, and all other defenseless living things and NOT protect a fetus? We have two different definitions of life for the purposes of 'political conveniece'. In any other life form-plant or animal, life is considered to begin at cell division. Yet, pro choicers have decided ' uhhh, no. Actually for a human being life doesn't exist until a human is born'. It is a SICK double standard. I pray daily for others within my party to have a change of heart on this issue. How can we fight to protect trees and not human life? Go ahead conservatives-start throwing your tomatoes at me! You probably think I'm as wacky as a black man at a Klan meeting. posted by

Patrick, you have my admiration for expressing what I have felt back when I was a Democrat before turning independent. We can only pray and hope the Democrats come to their senses and protect life from the womb to the tomb. posted by

It is a SICK double standard. That sums it up. It's all semantics when we play the "what is a human being" game. The women's rights argument are valid up to a certain point but I believe the the life/rights of the child should take precedence over hers. I've been pretty luke warm on the issue but when it comes down to it, society should try to protect the "least among us" and in this case, it's the unborn child.
