mmmm reminds me of jesus loves me..how fitting..take note that was a 'black teacher' in charge of that little diddy

That's digusting!  The libs get mad when we compare The Great One to Hitler, but this is yet one more example.

posted by pogo on Sep 24, 2009 at 02:27 PM

Let's see. Obama, 1/2 black kid from fatherless home, gets education, becomes President. Nah, don't want that for a role model for inner city kids. Way too radical.

posted by pogo on Sep 24, 2009 at 02:33 PM

pamg, I wouldn't get mad, just sad to see anyone compared to Hitler. Do you have any concept whatsoever of the misery and death that Hitler caused? No person since has come close, yet the name falls so effortlessly from our lips. I suggest, if you haven't already done it, that you do an in-depth study of WWII and the Holocost before comparing anyone to that monster.

When something starts out with the headline

Another indoctrination video

A thinking person would naturally wonder how much value is contained  within the clip  inself.     They would probably come to the same conclusion I did.   This is not journalism, it's advertising with Glenn Beck as the marketed product.

whats trully sad is that he didnt get there on his own merits.  How many people do you think he owes favors to?  His presidency has been bought and paid for

Sioux

You can express your enthusiasm for someone without using all the hyperbole and large fonts.  Try it and I think your posts will be taken more seriously.

learn, I don't know if your statement means that his education and subsequent successes were given to him, but I don't believe any of us were successful entirely on our own. So, let's not denigrate the man's accomplishments. We can disagree with his politics but he has made a significant journey. I find it is only the truly close-minded person who cannot give credit to someone he/she disagrees with. You are smarter than that.

You know sioux, I have been reading your stuff here for a long time, and even though I am the eternal optimist, I have yet to find anything worthwhile in anything you post. You picture says it all. I would call you an ignorant, red-neck idiot. But that would be an insult to all ignorant, red-neck idiots.

and yes, that is name calling so turn me in if you wish.

 Leranem,

We all know you hate your job.  I have a feeling you may be projecting some of your guilt on to the ( your )  President for not being the teacher you know you really want to be.

That's not fair and you ought not do that.

The one foot liberal has spoken. I've wanted to ask where is the other foot stuck? I myself like the way sioux thinks. Does using large fonts upset you?

virgil: We all know you hate your job, and I have a feeling you may be projecting some of your guilt on to the President for not being the teacher you know you really want to be.

At least he has a job and isn't wanting other taxpayers to support him. Don't be upset  he is expressing his opiinion. I know most of you liberals don't believe he should have one. It's one of them darn rights our founding fathers allowed us. Does that make us a racist? Coming from the one line wonder what more would we expect.

It's not his opinion that's the problem. It's the personal attacks and insults, although I will admit, he's gotten a little more civil lately.

rwestfall, do you really think that liberals don't want people to have opinions if they don't agree with them? Geez man, where'd you get that idea?

posted by pamg on Sep 24, 2009 at 04:30 PM

Pogo et al,  I am well aware of the misery and death that Hitler caused.  That is not where my comparison lies.  Do you think he just woke up one morning, gathered everybody around him and said 'Today, we are going to start killing Jews" and everbody just jumped onto his band wagon?

Hitler's rise to power and his ability to manipulate was a slow and insidious process, brought about by the "worship" of a man that the people thought of as a leader.  Like Obama, he was charismatic; words flowed from his mouth like honey.  Before he started killing, in the eyes of his followers, he could do no wrong.  He convinced his supporters that he was their savior from severe economic downturns, as has Obama.  He supported eugenics. Obama supports abortion.  Different reasoning, same results.

And even after the killing of the Jews started, many of his followers would hear no evil against him.  And it was all done by indoctrination.  By the time the people of Europe realized what was happening, it was too late.  No matter what Obama does to this country (since WHEN does a president have the right to take over a company and fire its CEO?), there are some who will never, ever say "he done wrong."

I could go on and on with this, but don't have the time.

So when did the conversation about GW start?   lol

I would say graduating from Harvard as a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, qualifies as personal merit.

From your posts? Any opinion that doesn't have your views we are considered racist. So yes I do. PP2 take some responsiblity for where you are in life and we might see eye to eye. Hell I might buy you a beer.

donmason: whats trully sad is that he didnt get there on his own merits.  How many people do you think he owes favors to?  His presidency has been bought and paid for

I agree 100%. Does that cover all our elected officials? That statement covers Bush and Obama and all who came before. I don't care what side they all are on it's  for one reason themselves. It's about staying in power.

I'm for high speed rail and lets go ahead and cover everyone with good health insurance. But lets figure out how to pay for it before we go further in debt. Lets stop bickering with each other and take our country back from special interests and politicians who think they can bend us over and support their ego. Lets make taxes fair. If we can do that I'm with all of you.

And just for the record Obama is half white. Does that make me a raciist? You want me on board? Then stop attacking me for my opinion.

The font Sioux uses doesn't bother, per se.

If anything the font size indicates to me that here is a comment that is large on size and small on content.  It makes his posts easier to skip.

Having said that I must admit that I do feel a little sorry for someone who is obviously needy for attention.

The retirement system I contributed to each month (to the tune of 7% of my gross pay) is what's supporting me (quite nicely too, I may add).  30 years of contributions add up!!

From Wikipedia, Cult of personality.

"A cult of personality arises when a country's leader uses mass media to create an idealized and heroic public image, often through unquestioning flattery and praise.[1] Cults of personality are often found in dictatorships and Stalinist governments.

A cult of personality is similar to general hero worship, except that it is created specifically for political leaders."

Yeah, that would describe the video.

Wow, very mature of you.

Oh, and I don't think that ALL of you are racist.  The same way I don't think that ALL of you are close-minded bullies who like to  gang up on people who don't agree with you (or anyone else on your "side").  The same folks who would probably be against a cure for cancer if Obama had any part in it.   Like I said...not ALL of you are like that.

Thankfully they are only singing praise to Hussein the Owe-man and not to God or Jesus.  That would be a 1st amendment constitutional crisis.

Sorry, couldn't help just popping in for a quick comment.  I know, that's not like me...the quick part I mean.  I just want to mention that as a conservative, and a long time poster, I've been ganged up on by libs more times that I can count.  I usually chalk it up to it being my day in the barrel.

It's not uncommon for someone on either side to have their day in the barrel.  It's a risk  we all take when we voice our opinions.

I posted this on another blog on this topic ...

I think it's safe to say that while Chairman Maobama may want to be like God, God wouldn't want to be like him. Imagine the uproar that'd have ensued from the left if the kiddies were singing in praise of God or George Bush. And to think they have been pooh-poohing the notion of children being indoctrinated in our schools. With 90 percent of the teachers enraptured by our undocumented president, they have to be kidding themselves.

No doubt Fox is all over this. One of the panelists on Hannity's show was Deneen Borelli of Project 21, a group of right-thinking blacks: http://www.black-and-right.... She revealed that she went to that very school where the kindergartners were subversively made to worship The Anointed One, and needless to say, she isn't one happy camper.

By the way, the only thing missing is their little red neckerchiefs. Maybe they'll get them when they are outfitted in spiffy blue uniforms -- kinda like the ones the kiddies wore when they sang of Hitler being their lord and savior: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Oh my god, are you serious?  An "A and B conversation" on a public blog?  You mean you don't like the way I chimed in and added my 2 sense to your little spat and rant?  I guess only some people are allowed to do that.  Wow, you're more out there than I thought.  I stand by my above comment because that is what I have been seeing lately as I read the blogs.  Oh, and Nancy, who cares if its been said by someone already, it seems to be the way some of the people are on this site.  Don't get your panties in a bunch...I didn't say ALL of you were bullies who liked ganging up on people...or did I?

posted by NancyII on Sep 25, 2009 at 08:20 AM

No one said you DID say ALL.  I merely explained that everyone has their day in the barrel if they post here any length of time.

You're awfully defensive.   Any reason for that?

Oh..and I never get my panties in a bunch over a blog comment.  I may get ticked off at some of the absurdity but my underwear stays firmly in place thank you very much.  Contrary to popular belief some of us do not carry it around with us.  It's just a blog.

Too bad most don't remember the old "kilroy was here" philosophy.

sioux, I'm really not sure what you are talking about. The Hitler thing? Yes, I think it is despicable to compare anyone, Bush or Obama, whoever to that madman. I don't know about "spat and rant". If that is what I'm doing then I'll have to tone it down some. Not sure what Audrey's banishment is, and yes I always do have a choice, it is still a free country for all of us.

Proam, since I'm making these rounds today, here is my take:

I believe that the clip was obviously staged.  Emphasizing the "Hussein" part isn't something that a real Obama supporter would likely do.  In a clip staged for opposition partisan purposes, however, I would fully expect it.

I would ask myself why all of these clips take place in "some other school," and why there is a camera always present to supposedly catch it in the act.  If this were anywhere near widespread, surely kids across the nation would come home with surprising little stories of "Mom, guess what we were taught in school today!"

This isn't happening, as far as I know.  The only incidents seem to be captured in these little clips.

On Witters' page, I wrote about the illegitimacy or apparent illegitimacy of Democratic exercises of power.  This, however, does nothing to comfort me that President Obama's opponents would exercise it any more legitimately.

posted by drilnliftcrude on Sep 26, 2009 at 01:43 PM

No AD, it is real and not staged.  The restrictions on the use of Obama's middle name was only in force until the election.

posted by proam on Sep 26, 2009 at 04:18 PM

Apollo, This one is not only real, I was looking around and there were more of these classrooms of small children singing songs about Obama. This one was the worst IMO as it involved a Christian song, replacing Barrack Hussein Obama for Jesus. That is wrong on so many levels.

If Obama was the Christian he made himself out to be during the election, he'd have come out against this. It is shameful IMO that he hasn't. Once again Arrogance! This President is so full of himself it is sickening.

posted by pogo on Sep 26, 2009 at 04:21 PM

Yes, tell those kids to stop having the President as a role model.

posted by proam on Sep 26, 2009 at 04:27 PM

pogo, Is that all Jesus is to you? He is our Lord and Savior! Our Lord and Savior is surely not a man named Barrack Obama.

posted by ApolloDawn on Sep 26, 2009 at 05:19 PM

OK, Proam, maybe you're right.  There were just so many things that didn't fit together in my mind about it.

If it is real, I wonder what in the world someone was thinking by posting it on Youtube.  It would fit into what I was saying about remarkable obliviousness to how some of their actions might look or sound to others.

This sort of topic really isn't my interest, but since we were talking about similar things in a rational manner, I thought I would chime in.

posted by proam on Sep 26, 2009 at 05:31 PM

Apollo, I appreciate the fact that you did chime in. If we don't remain open minded we can't learn. I sometimes ( Especially Lately ) hear things that I think, no way. I'll look into it and see if I can find out whats happening. There is so much crazy stuff happening these days, it boggles my brains. Often wish I were a kid again without a care in the world. Left the heavy lifting so to speak to the adults. Well here we are. We all have to grow up. Thanks for chiming in!

posted by pogo on Sep 26, 2009 at 06:42 PM

Proam, I would never mean to insult your belief. I didn't watch the clip, but apparently the kids were singing to the  tune of "Jesus Loves Me". Did Jesus write the hymn? Or was it just a man? Are hymns sacred? No one disrespected Jesus that I can see. If you see it that way, then sorry for any insult.

posted by proam on Sep 26, 2009 at 06:51 PM

No need to ask questions you and I both know the answers to. It would seem to me that even Obama would be irritated by the thought that people are putting his name in exchange for Jesus. Unless he don't see anything wrong with it, or elevates himself  to that extent. I personally feel very uncomfortable if he thinks he fits in those shoes. I assure you he does not. If anything just the opposite.
