I am so sick of those little sticky ads on the front of my newspaper every morning I just cant stand it.  I know the Californian does not care as they have said as much.  It's all about the almighty dollar with them.  Why cant they stick a leaflet in the paper instead?  Maybe if enough of us voice our opinion here they just might realize how many of us are actually annoyed by this.  Just a thought.

Can someone please explain to me how this local site allows someone who constantly posts controversial blogs involving nothing but cramming his/her views on homosexuality gets people kicked off this blog??? This person does not even live here, yet gets local folks evicted or suspended off this list for enforcing their 1st Ammendment rights when someone who doesnt even live here constantly and intentionaly posts infmlamitory blogs???? What is wrong with this blog???  Do you all even know he belongs to almost a dozen other blogs (that have been found so far) for blogs in communities where he/she doesnt even live?????  I am friggin sick of this blog.  The only thing ever posted here is incendiary posts by a jerk who doesnt even belong to this community, yet he doesnt get booted off this site.  Seems to me the Californian is homophobic and too afraid to give him the boot, yet we are all sick of this person and no one has the guts to say so.

OK, I just had to post this because it seems to be bothering me.  Yesterday I was in line at the grocery store and there was a woman in line in front of me.  On her top half she was wearing a white tshirt with the sleeves cut off and on the bottom half she was wearing a CDC uniform.  So here she is, obviously off duty, but still recognizeable as a CDC Officer and she is in line buying BOOZE!!  I think it is VERY tacky to only wear part of your uniform.  Who does she think she is kidding?? Everyone knows what she does for a living, including some scum bag parolee who just got out and is now encountering her off duty and not armed.  Why on earth would you advertise yourself as Law Enforcement in a public place when you have no gun, no radio, no baton or anything to protect yourself.  I do believe other agencies forbid their employees from wearing only a portion of their uniform in public.  I am sorry but that is just plain tacky, and to be buying alcohol on top of it.  Not safe and tacky!!

Trying to do the right thing, my husband recycles his oil from his motorcycle.  He called last night and made an appointment to have the City of Bakersfield come pick up the used oil.  Not knowing what time they were to be here today, he set the oil in the recycling container on the curb.  He went to bed at 10 and I got home from work just after 11pm.  By the time I got home, someone had kicked the recycling container and ALL of the oil and the oil containers were all over the street and driveway.  This was no accident, it was an intentional act.

If you have any teenage kids who were out in the neighborhood of Noriega/Jewetta last night between 10-11 pm, you should be quite proud of your kid.  Now the tax payers of Bakersfield can see how their hard earned money is getting flushed down the toilet.  The City had to come out and sand the ENTIRE BLOCK (over 500 yards), that has to sit 24 hours, then a street cleaner has to come back and everyone on my block has to move their cars so this incredible mess can be cleaned up.  Unbelievable.
