George W. Bush, if nothing else, will keep historians busy for a hundred years cataloging his mistakes.   In fact, the incoming President could score in the top quarter of Presidents by just asking himself "What Would Shrub Do?" and doing exactly the opposite.

But this anecdote about America's Worst President graphically illustrates (literally) Bush's tenure.

http://harpers.org/archive/...

It's about an iconic painting, a painting Bush was so smitten with that he centered the title of his autobiography on it.  Future historians could do much worse than to follow his example, for...well, you read it. :)

...he quite often just deletes.

But the question stands:  Does Buffoo/Sojourner/Wayfarer believe it is right to prevent same-sex marriages by the force of law?

I say no.  I say that if the law can nullify same-sex marriages it can equally nullify marriages performed by Wiccan ministers, or Rabbis, or Orthodox Priests.

Given that the national spotlight is focused on politics (and government) by today's New Hampshire primary, it seems appropriate to pass along this civics quiz (warning--it's 60 questions long).  And it's *NOT* easy, like the one you have to pass to be a naturalized citizen.  Even *I* missed enough questions to make me score just 15 percent or so higher than your average Harvard University senior (who presumably didn't last study this stuff 30 years ago...)

It's even slanted to favor conservatives.  But you've got to know your Marbury v. Madison from your Brown v. Board of Education...

Give it a whirl and post your score if you dare.  I got an 83, a respectable "B."
