On 9/28/07, Deputies from the Frazier Park Substation responded to an alleged domestic violence call in the 1200 block of Leisure Ln.

Upon arrival, Deputies identified a female subject who advised the male suspect was barricaded inside of the residence.  The suspect was identified as John Kolt, age 41, a resident of Pinon Pines. 

During the investigation deputies determined the domestic violence incident was unfounded but Kolt was determined to be a parolee at large.  Deputies entered the residence and located Kolt hiding in the attic.
 
He was ordered (numerous times) to surrender but he refused.  Deputies entered the attic and found Kolt hiding in a crawl space where deputies could not reach him.  Kolt was again ordered numerous times to surrender but he refused. 

Deputies deployed their taser on Kolt and he submitted to arrest.  Kolt was transported to KMC where he was medically cleared for the taser deployment.  He was booked into CRF for resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and the parole hold.
