GREATER BAKERSFIELD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

For those of you who were not in attendance at the GRC meeting this morning, I announced that my time with the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce is coming to and end.  Friday, October 12th will be my last day as a member of the GBCC team.  I have recently accepted the position of Administrative Analyst III in the Bakersfield City Manager's Office.

This new opportunity brings with it mixed emotions.  I am excited for this new challenge and the prospect of having a small role in the future of Bakersfield, but I will also miss the regular exchanges with the many extraordinary individuals that make up the membership of this fine organization.

Being a part of the GBCC staff for the past five-plus years has been an outstanding experience, one that has been integral to my evolution as an individual and as a professional.

I owe a great debt of gratitude to all of you who have shown me such strong support and encouragement over my time here at the GBCC...without it, opportunities like this would not be possible.  I look forward to continuing to build upon the strong relationships I have made here and to the new relationships I will forge working for the city.

With respect and appreciation,

Steven L. Teglia
