Suspect in residential robbery still outstanding
 
The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
locating Manuel Gabriel Cervantes who is wanted in connection with a residential
robbery that occurred on 3/5/08 in the 2800 block of Truxtun Avenue.
 
Detectives believe that Cervantes is still in the area.  We have received some
information on his whereabouts but he has not yet been located.  
 
Cervantes is described as a:
  Hispanic male, 23, 5’10, 160, brown hair and eyes.
 
Detectives no longer believe that Cervantes is operating the ’04-’05 white truck. 
There is no current information or description of a possible vehicle.
 
A photo of Cervantes is attached to this news release.  
  
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cervantes is asked to call
Bakersfield Police at 661-327-7111.  Anonymous and confidential information
can be provided through Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.
