Elemental Disruption

"Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They've already passed their test in life. They're aristocrats." Diane Arbus

My life seems to operate sideways~ backwards almost~ and I have come to see thats right for me. A rain of snakes, disruption that cause's growth ,the world split in two.Everyone has there own path, mine has been one of thought, mostly of things folks today seem to disregard. Truth, personal integrity,politeness,...not all eschew these things. For me its been the easiest way to be~ any other way leads me to more trouble..and a sense of humor, above all about myself. Laughter keeps a person sane, and I enjoy seeing the coyote in myself~ the eternal trickster

Bill Moyers: Impeachment is the cure...
..for the disease of constitutional crisis.Last night on "the Journal" I heard two fine minds~one a Regan administration conservative, the other a Washington corespondent for "The Nation" ,liberally inclined. This clip is a short window to the most compelling impeachment argument:The tools this President has put in his tool box, unless he is impeached, will remain there for..Hillary,Rudy,Obama,Fred...whomsoever is elected. There are other clips of the same show on Youtube, but I suggest you click on over to PBS and watch this segment. They model for us~the dysfunctional family here at B.com~how and why we all need to stand united.I'll ruin the suspense ~they both agree!

Can you believe another year and a half with Cheney and Bush? Our problem today is that a super majority is needed to get anything done. The country needs a no confidence measure to be in place to call for a general election and remove the obstacles.
We can all wish for impeachment from now until January 2009, but it will not happen in a closely divided Congress. Too bad for us.

You'll get no argument from me about this Administration, BUT the real point is about Presidential Powers. If we do not say "no man is above the law, that this administration is not above the law", all the powers currently held will pass to Romney,Clinton,Gillianni or who ever is elected~there in lies the true danger.

I saw that piece and found it to be very telling. Conservatives should take note that highly thought of Conservatives want Bush impeached. As a former moderate conservative, I've seen the philosophy totally transform into a greed fest, pushing out 'family values' that none of it's leaders adhere to. It doesn't make you a bad Conservative or Republican to want this guy out of there. He's made a mockery of true consevatism and has simply survived by way of rhetoric. He's spending 12 billion of your dollars monthly in order to get your sons and daughters killed over what is obstensibly a civil war between two factions that both hate us. That's why I think the influence of Karl Rove will be epic in history. He is not a great person, but he has a great mind. Between he and Cheney, lies Rasputin.

Impeachment will, if nothing else, bring to light the many transgressions and violations of Constitutional Law. Even the most ardent Bush apologetic will get it then.
