*me blushing* ~Thank you both. As for the gentle part~ I work hard at keeping the beastie in me at bay. Unfortunately it has gotten out once or twice to the detriment to those nearest ;-)

What a beautiful picture, Sage. Is it safe to assume that's you and Christopher? Angelic, curious, reaching out ... so precious. And you obviously so doting. Thank you for that glimpse into your history.

I know in my heart that she will get that year~ and that the love she has for her child will stand through out time. Go hug the people you love.

An Update:  I heard  this morning that the intensive rounds of treatment are very encouraging ,her numbers are up. The most encouraging news of all,she is ravenous! I had the privilege of working with a few patients with cancer of the liver ~ food usually simply tastes terrible.

It looks  very promising that she will get that precious year.

I saw the original post, but the words hit me so hard in my sweet spot that I could not finish a comment without going to pieces.

I read your latest, a beautiful call to balance...but I am in weird space right now ~ so I am waiting a few days to mull over what's up with me~  lol... parts of *me* are still frozen solid. Thank goodness they were well exercised previously. :-)
