Last Friday, AB 1634 was defeated in the California State Senate. 27 courageous Senators voted to protect the rights of pets and their owners by voting against this legislation.

Today, PetPAC is announcing a petition drive named “10,000 Thank You’s.” Our goal is to have 10,000 of our supporters sign the Thank You to the Senators who voted against AB 1634. PetPAC will personally deliver these Thank You’s to the State Capitol.

By defeating AB 1634 in California, pet owners sent a strong message across this nation; we will fight to protect our dogs and cats from irresponsible mandatory sterilization laws which will result in more dogs and cats being sent to animal shelters and euthanized.

So Random and friends of Yobama...What happens when this guy drops in the middle of his term.."He's not no spring chicken" either. If someone takes out Yobama and Biden croaks from the pressure..WHAT CHA GONNA DO???

Associated Press | Friday, Aug 22 2008 9:57 PM

WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware is Barack Obama’s pick as vice presidential running mate, The Associated Press has learned.

Biden, 65, is a veteran of more than three decades in the Senate, and one of his party’s leading experts on foreign policy, an area in which polls indicate Obama needs help in his race against Republican rival John McCain.

The official who spoke did so on condition of anonymity, saying they did not want to pre-empt a text-message announcement the Obama campaign promised for Saturday morning.

The  Presidential election was too close to call. Neither the Republican candidate nor the Democratic candidate had enough votes to win.. There was much talk about ballot recounting, court challenges, etc., but a week-long ice fishing competition seemed the sportsmanlike way to settle things. The candidate that caught the most fish at the end of the week would win the election.

Therefore, it was decided that there should be an ice fishing contest between the two candidates to determine the winner.

After much of back and forth discussion, it was decided that the contest take place on a remote frozen lake in northern Minnesota.

There were to be no observers present, and both men were to be sent out separately on this isolated lake and return at 5 P.M.with their catch for counting and verification by a team of neutral parties. At the end of the first day, John Mc. returned to the starting line and he had ten fish.

Soon, Obama returned and had no fish. Well, everyone assumed he was just having another 'bad hair' day or something and hopefully, he would catch up the next day.

At the end of the 2nd day John Mc. came in with 20 fish and Obama came in again with none.

That evening, Harry Reid got together secretly with Obama and said, 'Obama, I think John Mc. is a low-life, cheatin' son-of-a-gun. I want you to go out tomorrow and don't even bother with fishing. Just spy
on him and see just how he is cheating.'

The next night (after John Mc. returns with 50 fish),  said to Obama, 'Well, tell me, how is John Mc. cheating?'
Obama replied, 'Harry, you're not going to believe this, but he's cutting holes in the ice!

Child welfare workers backed by State Police have removed four children from a doomsday cult in northeastern New Mexico, whose leader has acknowledged having sex with followers and being with “virgins that laid upon my bed, naked.”

The children— three girls and one boy— were removed beginning April 22 because of allegations that they may have been subjected to inappropriate contact, said Romaine Serna, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Children, Youth and Families.

She said the District Attorney’s Office and State Police are investigating alleged misconduct by cult leader Wayne C. Bent— known to his followers as Michael Travesser.

Bent is a lanky, bearded man in his mid-60s who had predicted the end of the world last Oct. 31 and says he is the second coming of Jesus.

He has denied having sex with the virgins.

In a posting on the group’s Web site, Bent said he is enraged by the removal of the four children.

“Since the children were kidnapped, I have not taken food,” he wrote. “The fury is still so great within me, I cannot eat. I awaken in the night and feel it.”

Quoting the “Great I Am,” Bent added:

“You kill My children, and I will kill your children. … I will give (Satan) permission to take your lives and burn you in your fire.”

A threatening letter to Gov. Bill Richardson was posted on the group’s Web site Tuesday.

“Now that you have moved against us because of our faith, the cup of God’s anger is full to the brim, and now He is free to move against you,” said the letter, whose author was listed as Jeff Bent.

‘I started to see God’

Wayne Bent and his 50 or so followers in The Lord Our Righteousness Church established Strong City, or Travesser, in 2000 in rural Union County after relocating from Arizona, according to the cult’s Web site.

In an episode of the show “Inside” to be broadcast May 7 on the National Geographic Channel, two young females at Strong City tell of lying naked with Bent.

“He just held me and it was like a whole new picture opened up to me of God,” one says.

The second says, “It was like all of heaven was open to me. Somehow I started to see God.”

The ages of the females aren’t disclosed in the clip of the episode that was available Monday on the Web site of the National Geographic Channel.

On the Strong City Web site, Bent, writing as Travesser in September 2007, tells how seven virgins came to him in 2006 and asked to lie naked on his bed.

The virgins asked for sex, but Bent said he refused.

“I had a meeting with the girls and told them all that I would not be having an intimate union with them as they had requested. Some of the girls began to cry, for it was strong upon their hearts,” he wrote.

Bent said the virgins stopped coming to him in June 2007 and he was never “appointed by the Father to have sexual intercourse with them.”

At least two of the seven virgins were minors, according to the episode of “Inside.”

“Nakedness is another symbol of our relationship with God,” Bent says in the episode. “We are naked and unashamed.”

A girl wrote on the Strong City Web site in December 2007 that she was one of the virgins who had been naked with Bent. She said she was 16 at the time.

“There has been much talk about Michael and that he had sex with the seven virgins and that he molested us,” the girl wrote. “I am the ‘youngest virgin,’ and I testify that these things did not happen at all.”

The girl wrote that Bent had been wrongly accused of being a pedophile.

Serna said the allegations that girls were naked with Bent “is a huge concern and very alarming, but it is not the only issue we will be assessing.” She declined to provide more details.

In a posting Thursday on Strong City’s Web site, Bent said he didn’t “lay around having sex all day with numerous women. … This is not a sex cult.”

But Bent has written about a 21-day “consummation” in 2000 with two women who are known to his followers as the Two Witnesses because they are credited with seeing the Messiah come to Bent.

He also has written about sex with a daughter-in-law after he made a covenant with God.

State intervention

Accompanied by State Police officers, representatives of the Children, Youth and Families Department removed the four children from Strong City during at least two trips to the community beginning April 22.

One of the three girls is 13, and another is believed to be about 17, based on information on the Strong City Web site. The boy who was removed is 16.

Serna said she didn’t have additional age information for the children, who were interviewed after their removal.

She said two of the children remain in state custody, a third volunteered to be placed by the state and the fourth was released to her parents, who don’t live in Strong City.

Serna said the department took the action after receiving information April 21 about alleged inappropriate contact with the children.

The agency’s job now is to assess whether the parents of the children have neglected or abandoned them, placing them at risk, the spokeswoman said.

Serna said the District Attorney’s Office and the State Police are conducting the criminal side of the investigation. A spokesman for the State Police didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

This is not the first time CYFD and law enforcement have looked into activities at Strong City, but Serna said no children were previously removed.

According to Strong City’s Web site, State Police and FBI agents visited the community in 2002 to investigate allegations that cult members planned a mass suicide.

The Web site also says children in the community were questioned in 2004 after an unannounced visit by State Police officers, sheriff’s deputies and state social workers.

I think this is probably the final update on our boys who claimed to be the Greatest Bigfoot Hunters in the World..if you go to their site its been updated with a flash format but theres no talk about their historic find..go read their guest book..its packed with supporters hahahahaah

www.bigfoottracker.com

xxxxxxxxxxxxx

According to recently posted statements by Searching for Bigfoot, Inc., they and everyone else were taken for a ride by the two men in Georgia claiming they'd found a Bigfoot body dead in the woods. Those guys are pretty scarce at the moment after admitting the fraud- no surprise there. Apparently they owe Searching for Bigfoot some money that changed hands in the big ramp up to the unimpressive press conference. Biscardi and company are seeking vindication and "action is being instigated against the perpetrators of this fraud" according to their website.

That it was eventually a fraud isn't a surprise for a lot of people. On the other hand, it's a huge dissapointment for many others. The folks in the middle, part-believers, part-skeptics, are just sort of watching this interesting game wondering what the rules might be from day to day. I have never in my life been witness to a Bigfoot sighting, though I've interviewed people who swear by their personal experiences. The largest part of me - in spite of an almost complete lack of evidence - wants to believe. Straight-up, in-your-face, insulting shinanigans such as this, however, might just drive me into the skeptic with an ax to grind category. This field of study, especially involving people who claim to make a living hunting the creature on expensive expeditions, can't afford this sort of media attention (even if their names do get spelled correctly in the midst of the hoopla).

Biscardi was the head-hyper, the front man, the known face from the beginning of what proved to be a solid week and a half of major mainstream coverage from Fox to CNN, from hometown newspapers to bloggers, from believers to non-believers. Biscardi claiming they've been hoaxed, however, doesn't wash. I don't think it's possible for them to even imagine trying to claim being victims on this.

In one of his earliest TV interviews he stated outright to Fox that he was there and it was thawed out (during the first fridge malfunction) and he saw it. Even prodded it. "Saturday it thawed out and they showed me the creature...I actually prodded it to see if it was real...and my god, it's, it's there..." Notice, however, he did not say "my god, it's real." The interview asks later "and it's real?" He responds, "Yeah."

His opportunity to inspect it - as the fascinated Bigfoot enthusiast since the early 70s - would have demanded he do more than simply prod the body. He would have been all over the thawed remains. And if the finders hadn't wanted him to touch it he would have demanded it. That he is complicite with the hoax seems the case. To try to back out as a victim may be impossibe if, in fact, he inspected the exposed body as he reported. If he touched it at all, given that we know now it's a rubber suit, he would have instantly known beyond a doubt.

This calls up legal questions whether perpetuators of frauds can easily be prosecuted in such situations? If money had not changed hands between Searching for Bigfoot and the two guys would any legal action even be possible? What other options are there? Any ideas?

This is the film by Geert Wilders. He's a Dutch writer who is now under protection from the Islamists in the Netherlands.
http://video.Google.com/videoplay?docid=3369102968 312745410

This is the film that has the EU and the Muslim world with their pants in a wad right now. Most websites have removed it, including You Tube. All bowing to threats. Google still has it posted as of today but, will probably bow to pressure soon. Can be a little tough to watch in spots.

This is a long one and will give you something to think about , ((((( no childern )))))

NOTE: All the underlined text below are LINKS to thing like YouTube videos, etc.

The Georgia Bigfoot Body Hoax all started with a web site created by two guys in Georgia calling themselves the "Georgia Bigfoot Trackers." Their site is www.bigfoottracker.com

Their full names are Matthew Gary Whitton and Ricky Traylor Chuck Dyer.

Whitton is a sheriff deputy of 6 years. Dyer is a transient, used car salesman. Dyer has had 14 different residences in the past 6 six years. He never worked as a prison guard, nor did he serve as an Army Ranger, as he has been claiming.

No one in the bigfoot research community had ever heard of these two guys before, and vice versa. But they put up a web site wherein they claimed to be the "best bigfoot trackers in the world".

It was strange.

They obviously hadn't been following the subject for long, because, for example, they had never heard of Jeff Meldrum ... the prominent expert who had appeared on numerous TV shows talking about the subject.

In the beginning they did not claim to have a body. In fact, they made it clear that they had nothing, but they said they would try to capture one.

They put out clownish YouTube videos offering to take people on bigfoot expeditions. They were obviously aware of the popularity of BFRO organized expeditions, some of which have taken place in Northern Georgia in the past.

Initially they claimed to be very well equipped and experienced at organizing bigfoot expeditions, but they later admitted that they had never previously participated in one.

Click here to see one of their first YouTube videos ... before they claimed to have a dead body.

Their YouTube videos were so foolish that many wondered whether these videos were intended as a joke ... but they weren't. These guys wanted to be taken seriously, and they wanted people to pay them $499 to attend their expeditions in Georgia. But no one was interested, and no one signed up, and no expedition ever occurred. Their little scam was a flop.

We ignored it, knowing they would never be taken seriously. We assumed these clowns would quickly fade away.

A week later Whitton was shown on the local TV news stations around Atlanta ... He had shot himself in the wrist with his own weapon while pursuing a suspect. This strange clown Whitton was indeed a Clayton County Sheriff deputy.

Various legitimate bigfoot researchers in Georgia were appalled by the whole situation and challenged these two guys about their claims. It was offensive that a sheriff deputy would be involved in such a ludicrous fraud. One Georgia researcher pointed out that they didn't have any experience or any evidence of anything. He sarcastically asked Dyer by phone "So do you have corpse or something?"

That gave Dyer and idea. After that conversation these Georgia boys started claiming that they had a bigfoot body ...

Click here for the YouTube video where they first mentioned having a bigfoot body

As Whitton and Dyer touted their bogus "bigfoot body" story, they noticed that some people were quick to believe them, or at least hold out lots of hope. The hopeful reactions they received from a few people led them to change tactics all together. Their whole game changed from bogus claims of expeditions to bogus claims of having a "bigfoot body".

While recovering at home from his gunshot wound Whitton was visited by family members. One family member was his brother from Texas -- Martin Whitton. Matthew Whitton, the sheriff, coached his brother to pose as a scientist from Texas who came to Georgia to examine the "body".

Click here for the YouTube video where Whitton introduces the phony scientist

Within a day or so of releasing that video "Dr. Paul Van Burren" was outed as Whitton's own brother. Matt Whitton was forced to admit, on YouTube, that he lied about the "scientist" but he continued with his bogus claim about having a "bigfoot corpse".

Click here for the YouTube video where Whitton admits lying about the "scientist".

A week or so after Whitton was mentioned in the local news because of his gunshot injury, various small newspapers around Georgia caught wind of "BigfootTrackers.com," and Whitton's claims of having a bigfoot body. A few articles appeared in small papers in Georgia.

The local media attention about their "bigfoot body" claims attracted the attention of the notorious con-man and charlatan Carmine Thomas Biscardi. Biscardi has a habit of chasing the media spotlight in the style of Reverend Al Sharpton when a bigfoot-related story starts grabbing headlines.

Media publicity had eluded Biscardi in recent years, after his bogus claims stopped getting him easy press attention. He had stooped to hiring PR writers to write glorifying stories about him, then directing those writers to pose as freelance journalists and submit those stories to newspapers.

Biscardi had previously perpetrated a bigfoot body hoax in 2005 on George Noory's "Coast to Coast AM" ("C2C") radio talk show.

C2C is broadcast in the middle of the night across the US and Canada. It has an audience of roughly 15 million people. Many, many people who work the graveyard shift of lonely jobs will listen to George Noory's nightly AM radio talk show concerning all things paranormal.

During this extraordinary radio hoax in the summer of 2005 Biscardi claimed to have a bigfoot body. He held the massive C2C radio audience in breathless suspense for a few nights, offering updates on "his team's" progress with a bigfoot body, all while encouraging the audience to subscribe (for $14.95 per month) to his remote web cam, where they might possibly spot another bigfoot at a location in Northern California ...

In other words, it was a scam.

Talk show host George Noory eventually smelled the hoax and demanded that Biscardi show his evidence or come clean.

Then Biscardi confessed, on the radio. There was no bigfoot body. His excuses and finger pointing fell on deaf ears. Noory was fuming. He demanded that Biscardi refund all the money to all the people who signed up for the pay-per-view "surveillance" project.

This radio hoax, and Biscardi's subsequent confession, were heard by millions of people across North America. The affair had curious parallels with Orson Wells' "Invasion from Mars" radio play in 1938, which held radio audiences in suspense and created a minor panic in New Jersey.

Orson Wells' unintentional hoax made him even more of a celebrity.

Roll forward to August 2008.

Once Biscardi got involved in the recent Georgia body hoax, he bumped it up to a new level of media deception. Biscardi began scheming to get lots of TV cameras in his face before it would become glaringly obvious that it was just another bigfoot body hoax like the one Biscardi pulled before on the radio in 2005.

Biscardi's big hook for the media was that Whitton is a sheriff deputy. The media had no idea that Whitton was a ludicrous liar. They would assume he was legit simply because he is a law enforcement officer.

An important lesson to be drawn from this caper: Certain Hollywood-ish stereotypes are often true and accurate. For example, sleazy guido con-artists from Las Vegas love to work with corrupt cops whenever they can. And corrupt cops are usually willing and eager to work with Las Vegas con-men.

I strongly encourag you all to go to this website and verify this. Its from CNN so you lefties wont be so quick to discredit what Im posting as just another bs email
http://money.cnn.com/news/s...

This is something you should be aware of when thinking about voting for Obuma.

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General Election:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How would this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change)

OBAMA 39.6%

How would this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes president. The experts predict that 'Higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market, yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.'

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)

Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA (reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)

Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750
&nbs p;

Under Obama, your taxes will more than double!

How does this affect you? No explanation needed. This is pretty straight
forward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families have lost businesses, farms, ranches and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet.

New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already)

New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity)

New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least....

New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!

This is not the kind of "change" we need in the United States. More and more taxation never solved anything.

CNSNews.com) - Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who has studiously avoided coming out in full support of same-sex marriage, may have finally tipped his hand on how he really feels.

"He has whole heartedly stepped behind the notion of same-sex marriage, homosexual adoption, ENDA - the employment nondiscrimination act, hate crimes letislation - all of these things that, if they were implanted, would take away religious liberties and freedom of speech and the traditional balues upon which our natio was founded,"  Barber said.

In recent letters written to homosexual activist groups, the presumed Democratic nominee said he supports homosexual couples adopting babies. Further, he said, he wants to repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which defines marriage as being between one man and one woman – and forbids states from being forced to accept any other definition of marriage under the U.S. Constitution’s Full Faith and Credit Clause.

In an Aug. 1 letter to a Boston-based homosexual rights group, the Family Equality Council, Obama specifically pledged to use the presidency to overturn DOMA – and pledged his support for homosexual “families” and efforts to totally redefine marriage.

He wrote: “... (W)e also have to do more to support and strengthen LGBT (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered) families. Because equality in relationship, family, and adoption rights is not some abstract principle; it’s about whether millions of LGBT Americans can finally live lives marked by dignity and freedom.

“That’s why we have to repeal laws like the Defense of Marriage Act. That’s why we have to eliminate discrimination against LGBT families. And that’s why we have to extend equal treatment in our family and adoption laws,” Obama wrote.

“I’ll be a president that stands up for American families – all of them,” he added.

Jennifer Chrisler, executive director of the Family Equality Council, told CNSNews.com that she sent identical letters to both Obama and to Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the expected Republican presidential candidate. Only Obama has responded, thus far.

“It basically asked both candidates to outline what policies they would put into place to help uplift and protect all kinds of families in the United States of America, including those headed by gay and lesbian folks,” she said.

The letter to Chisler’s group, however, is remarkably similar to a letter he sent in July to the Alice B. Toklas Democratic Club. In it, Obama said:

"As the Democratic nominee for President, I am proud to join with and support the LGBT community in an effort to set our nation on a course that recognizes LGBT Americans with full equality under the law,” Obama wrote.

“That is why I support extending fully equal rights and benefits to same-sex couples under both state and federal law. That is why I support repealing the Defense of Marriage Act and the ‘Don't Ask, Don't Tell’ policy, and the passage of laws to protect LGBT Americans from hate crimes and employment discrimination."

Obama also wrote that he supports “extending fully equal rights and benefits to same-sex couples under both state and federal law” – and called for repeal of DOMA and the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

He also proclaimed his opposition to “the passage of laws to protect LGBT Americans from hate crimes and employment discrimination” and added that he opposes “the divisive and discriminatory efforts to amend the California Constitution, and similar efforts to amend the U.S. Constitution or those of other states.”

(The California amendment to which Obama referred is on the ballot this fall and would prohibit same-sex marriage in the state.)

(((Obama concluded: “Finally, I want to congratulate all of you who have shown your love for each other by getting married these last few weeks.”)))

In February, meanwhile, the Obama campaign took out similar-sounding ads in homosexual newspapers in Ohio and Texas, saying: “As your President, I will use the bully pulpit to urge states to treat same-sex couples with full equality in their family and adoption laws.

“I personally believe that civil unions represent the best way to secure that equal treatment. But I also believe that the federal government should not stand in the way of states that want to decide on their own how best to pursue equality for gay and lesbian couples – whether that means a domestic partnership, a civil union, or a civil marriage.”

Obama: wink and nod support for same-sex marriage?

Conservative and pro-traditional marriage groups say when you consider Obama’s recent pronouncements, it is now possible to connect the dots, and Obama’s position on same-sex marriage is becoming clear.

“This is the first time that you have had a major presidential candidate voicing his support for same-sex marriage,” said Tom McClusky, vice president of government affairs at the Family Research Council.

“This letter is congratulating those who have gotten married, despite the fact that he has said in the past that he opposes same-sex marriage, so to me this is clear support for same-sex marriage,” McClusky said.

“Repeal of DOMA has been a mainstay of the Democratic leadership in Congress since they took over,” McClusky said.

“Nancy Pelosi supports it, of course Barney Frank does. Both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton said this when they debated at the Logo debate in the primary. Here though, he is crossing the line and saying that he supports same-sex marriage,” he added.

McClusky said there’s a world of difference between saying, “I support families” and “I’m going to fight for same-sex couples, oppose DOMA as president, oppose efforts to stop the redefinition of marriage and press for adoption for homosexual couples.”

“It’s a huge difference,” McClusky said. “You didn’t get John Kerry saying anything like that in his statement concerning same-sex marriage in 2004. This really is the first time that you have a presidential candidate who has pledged to fight for all of these issues.”

Matt Barber, director of cultural affairs for Liberty Counsel, agreed that Obama’s position is now clear – even if it’s being done with a wink and nod.

“Barack Obama, in the past, has been unclear about whether he supports same-sex marriage – I think this statement sews up any loose ends,” Barber said. “There’s no question that he is now the first presidential candidate to come out in support of same-sex marriage.”

Barber, however, said the Democratic candidate gives every appearance of supporting the full homosexual political agenda.

“He essentially has bought the homosexual agenda hook, line, and sinker and has promised to push it whole-heartedly – to use the full weight of the office of the presidency to push the homosexual activist wish-list,” Barber told CNSNews.com

“He has whole heartedly stepped behind the notion of same-sex marriage, homosexual adoption, ENDA – the employment nondiscrimination act, hate crimes legislation – all of these things that, if they were implanted, would take away religious liberties and freedom of speech and the traditional values upon which our nation was founded,” Barber said.

According to Federal Election Commission filings, Barack Obama has received illegal donations from Palestinians living in Gaza, a hotbed of Hamas terrorists.

Obama received more than $24,000 in campaign contributions over a period of two months last fall from three Palestinian brothers from the "Edwan" family in Rafah, Gaza, which is a Hamas stronghold along the border with Egypt. The story was uncovered by Pamela Geller of the Atlas Shrugs blog. (see Federal Election Commission report)

Attorney and conservative commentator Debbie Schlussel notes foreign nationals are barred from making contributions in connection with any election -- federal, state, or local -- and an individual is allowed to give only $2,300 per election to a federal candidate or the candidate's campaign committee.

"The donations are basically through and through illegal -- that's number one. And number two is how the Obama campaign tried to conceal it," Schlussel chides. "They listed the campaign contributions as coming from Rafah, Georgia. They used the 'GA' from Gaza so it makes it look like it's legal; and then for the zip code it says '972,' which is actually the area code to dial over to Gaza," she contends.

The attorney comments that if the Obama campaign is willing to "accept thousands of dollars beyond the legal limit and they're also going to flout [Federal Election Commission] restrictions...that's very indicative of what kind of president [Obama] is going to be."

"They're not going to be worried about the details and they won't mind if they break the law to get to the final result that they want," adds Schlussel. She believes it is a "major news story when a presidential candidate receives money from 'a bastion of Islamic terrorism.' And Schlussel argues that the media is "bending over backwards to help Barack Obama and cover up any negative news about him."

Schlussel says Pamela Geller will likely file a Federal Election Commission complaint against the Obama campaign for violating restrictions and limits on campaign contributions.
