GREAT SONG Steve..some on here might not appreciate its content or agree with it because of their atheistic views but I thought it was well done.. and all this talk about letterman and his sic cracks about children..i also heard a comedian??? the other night make a really sic comment about keiths brother and the way he died... with Obama and his gang wanting to censor Rush etc..I think he needs to start crakin heads on a few of these funny guys that think they have a right to say whatever disrespectful trash they want and call it comedy.. posted by

I can not remember exactly who first posted this~I think It may have been Ling. Nice idea~and it bears repeating. Keith Carradine, Robert Carradine and David Carradine( recently deceased) are the sons of John Carradine~ one of Americas great acting dynasties. posted by

siouxcity, I'm not religious. I don't mind people using their religious beliefs to promote others to get involved in the political process, as long as it isn't church leaders telling their congretation members to vote for a political candidate from the pulpit. Steve, nice link. I didn't sign the Declaration of Independence, because I want to read it again before I sign it. I remember some of Jefferson's grievances against King George, but I can't remember where Jefferson referred to Native Americans as "savages." Jefferson--love him or hate him.

Jefferson did what is considered to be one of the first "digs"~ which developed into archeology . There were burial grounds on or near his land. He thought the natives that visited had what could be considered "human" expressions of respect and grief ( Natives were ruled "human" in 1878 by the courts. He wondered why~ so he did one of the first careful examinations of such a site. It is a wonderful thing that now, such an act would be illegal . Nice *edit* SCR posted by

Without over analyzing the song (which I'm proud of)....it resonates how powerful and prideful we are of the USofA. God Bless America! And God Bless those of us who BELIEVE. posted by
