Yes, I  mailed one in JUST yesterday.  I bet it won't get published, it was quite simple in nature....let's just say it had to do with LIFE, like in the cereal....I don't expect it to show up this weekend, but I'll check again next weekend to see....

ALSO, I HAVE HAD THREE (3) MAKE THE SITE IN THE PAST YEAR....and I've probably sent over 8 of them in.

I bought the book a couple weeks ago, hoping they'd show up in the book, but not this time around.  I LOVE POSTSECRET....

Are you thinking of sending one in?

no...I could never decide which one to send.

Most of that is pretty depressing stuff.  I guess that's why they kept the thoughts secret.

Yes, I sent in a secret I had been holding onto for 24 years.

Even anonymously it was the hardest thing I ever did.

Silly I know :0)

Oh, and I bought the latest book. It is fun (in a sad way) to read. .

I still have ONE big secret, that's gonna be the hardest to send in too....trying to do an image for it, is what stops me cold in my tracks....I think that's why I've sent in some easy ones, ones that really aren't a big secret, since, of course, my husband has seen them on the site, because I was excited about being "published" and told him they were there....I have no secrets with my husband now, c'mon.

The book makes me feel human....and not alone in our perils.

I love the site~and it actually helps me to know that others struggle with things ~both small and large~ the way I do. I do not feel so alone.

I could never tell anyone my secret. No one in my life would understand.

I never told my mom or dad (both are dead now) I never told my first husband (thank God!) Never will tell my kids or my husband.

Never said it or even wrote it for all those years until I sent it off to postsecret.

That's ok..Like Sage said I know that i'm not alone with things i'm ashamed of.

I think the man who started this "project" had a great idea!

You can youtube search for lots more.

A secret is only a secret as long as it isn't told.  When someone else knows abou tit, it isn't a secret anymore.

I think that's the point Nancy~you can release your secret~be it as mundane as "I judge you buy what you buy in your grocery cart" or a dramatic as "My father raped me"~in a safe place..and just possibly work towards releasing it to others. Sometimes it feels safer telling someone you don't know something, even with loving friends and family around you. My "secret" I told my half sister at our second meeting, then my best friend of 30+ years..said it here in a recent post and am trying to find the words to tell Mr.Sage.

Sage, I like the sight also, some of the stuff is pretty heartbreaking w/ people feeling they have no one to talk w/ about their secerts.

I personally havent posted anything to the site.
