What do you think?
What do you think of this car? I like small suv's or trucks. *With the exception of the 69 Camero! Woah hot!* Anyway, I saw this car on TV this morning and I like it! I think I need to go look at it up close, I just might get me one. So, do you like it?

I could swear I saw one of these yesterday by Olive Drive. People were laughing and pointing. A pigeon pooped on it and all four tires popped. OK, I made the last part up. posted by

Actually, the ForTwo has a pretty good crash-test rating. http://jalopnik.com/tag/sma... And with the Hummers dying out...

I saw one on the freeway a while back and had no clue what it was. Any idea on the cost of one? I'd be tempted. I'd have to give up my Sonata though. posted by

They come with a roll bar type safety cage and front and side airbags. I think if I were going from here to say Calif I would be fearful of its size on the freeways. But around town to run errands it would be cool. There is one here in Casper, a cute yellow and black one, I have not seen it close up but it's cute because it stands out uniquely. I hardly drive my car so I think it may be worth it for me. posted by

I drove a Geo Metro when I lived in Laramie. Let me tell you, that drive to Cheyenne in the middle of winter would scare the beegeeuz out of me. And I don't even want to remember the drive to Ft. Collins... posted by

I think my little dog would be the only thing that could fit in that car, LOL. i wonder what the weight compacity is for those cars.... they are tiny so i wouldnt see it being very much. I think this is the car they use in the movie Just Married (i think that is what it is) with Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy. posted by

tchud: I was driving across Laramie once when it began to snow. As I drove up the overpass, I began to slow and slide backwards because it was so slick. What a sick feeling! Luckily no cars behind me. posted by

There are some great ULSD diesels out there Tony. Its just getting them OK'd for CA. Just like the "drop" test for guns. CA is a different animal when it comes to what you can buy posted by

I've been a passenger in one of these. They're way cool, but you have to be OK with sitting right next to the driver! They have plenty of legroom, but much less elbow room. You can practically park them sideways in any small parking space and they're reasonably zippy for what they are. If I needed a car about town, I would consider buying one of these and saving the Camry for the longer freeway trips. posted by

There were two kids on the Indian Reservation outa Greybull back then. I was gonna write a book with them in it once. My Daddy used ta call that "God's Country" alla time. Then one day mi tio Silvistre told him "and God can damn well have it....." We followed our own little "Trail of Tears" back about that time and ended up in OR. Sold tractors to farmers......... then we all kinda went our seperate ways I'll never forget how we were treated when we played Afton, Green River Wolves, Thermop, Riverton, etc.... Some memories are best forgot.................... posted by

You can buy those cars at any Chevron gas station. They run about $3.98 each and go real fast if you wind the wheels up on carpet and let it go on a hard surface. posted by

In many parts of California the smart car would be terrific. In the Bay Area and all along the coastal towns the car is just the right size. It seems ideal for many parts of Los Angeles as well. The perfect cruising vehicle to go through the many canyon drives and along the beach fronts. I also note there is no smart dealership locally. What a shock. posted by

Overseas you do park them straight in or back in and you do not pay for parking, they are exempt from parking and toll fees due to emission ratings, mileage and you pay a special very low road tax and insurance fees. they have been around a few years and are quite roomy inside, they look deceiving but are not cramped, good deal.and good workmanship posted by

Close chudilowsky, but the car I saw was slightly different, as the tires were covered up by the body, and making the nose of the car look like it needed a propeller! posted by

Anglo, posted a series on the compressed air car 6 months ago....Denmark has signed a contract and replacing all goverment vehicles with them all over Europe, Elecric cars are still big here in the cities, special lanes,no fees, they get top priority and deserve it, cat tell them apart from the other autos except for the "E" on the back and no sound...they just zip by.......
