Oh come on..don't take offense. :-)
Ok, I thought about this a lot last night and some this afternoon. It's buggin' me ok. Yesterday there was a blog about spelling and grammar. Ok great. I totally understand how some may be bothered by bad spelling or lack of effort by some to get it right. Understood yep! But here's what bothers me... Most, if not all, on here are adults. Grown and finished with schooling. Unless they are still in school :0) But adults none the less.
Unless I am preparing a class assignment or paper due to my professor....I don't think I need schooled on my spelling, wording, grammar etc... No need. Most feel that way I'm sure. Like I stated before. I live in a chaotic home with lots of goings on. I get distracted and try to type fast ha ha you know, so as not to lose my thought. EVERYONE makes errors in their writing as many admitted to yesterday. So my point? Get over it. Stop calling people on their "bad blogging habits" For sure it is so not an issue. This isn't school. No one has the right to be "teacher" or "blog spellin police" You know? It's crazy annoying and makes people wanna avoid blogging for fear of being ripped. Some type faster than their brain can spell. Some are less educated and just can't spell or use proper grammar. Many other reasons I'm sure.. That does not make their comments or observations or opinions any less cool, funny, important or meaningful than those of you who are perfect. Just 'listen' to their words. Ignore the mistakes in the way they are written. THAT'S ALL I'M TRYING TO SAY! :0) ahhhhhh That feels darn good! Thanks for letting me rant-o-la :-)

The idea of posting on a blog is to communicate. I have problems remembering what I had for dinner last night or my social security number. I caused myself headache when I transposed the numbers of my address on a form to renew my drivers license. So, I'm not quick to criticize someone else's spelling or grammar as long as I can understand what they are saying. On the other hand, I am not affronted when I get called on for a typo or blunder. That said, please edit your post. Your punctuation is atrocious. : ) posted by

I blame my recent departure into the world of anal retentive criticims over grammar on two things: 1. Going to school far too many years. 2. A mother who was most likely overly severe during my toilet training years. I've since changed my ways. As I said in my new song, "Don't watch your grammar chew tobacco buy gas-guzzlin' trucks you can't afford" That's the advice I gave to myself after I got back in touch with my "inner redneck." After all, gas-guzzling trucks are fun. Of course chewing tobacco could be bad for your heath, but using bad grammar isn't really going to hurt anybody. posted by
