Jason once said that using a name or avatar to mock another blogger was a violation. Look closely.

STG..sorry, that poster has been suspended and is no longer on the blog so who is he mocking?   Besides, showing his fake picture on a milk carton isn't mocking.  The guy really is missing and that isn't really his picture.

I really do miss Matt and I find all these back biting jabs at him unnecessary.  Especially since Matt isn't here to defend himself.  In fact,  Matt's absence is what gives dril the nerve to take pokes at him, because if Matt were here the debate would be lopsided and short.

I miss Matt - if for no other reason then argument fodder!!  Met him at the bloggers' picnic - I like him :-)

I find the pic neither funny nor offensive. I would imagine the only people who would find it funny were shallow, narrowminded folks who call themselves athiests. True atheists would find no humor in it because it would represent nothing to them. It wouldn't make any sense. I submit, Grumpy, that you are no more than a God and Christian hater, and thus, not a true athiest. I don't care either way, but you really should learn to be honest with yourself, because you aren't fooling anyone else, especially not the athiests!

As a Christian, I would only find this offensive if another Christian posted it, and even then, it would be the poster who was offensive, not the picture.

Please let me speak for myself.  Believe me, I understand the attempt at humor.  And it's, at best,  marginally humorous.  About on a par with a knock knock joke told by a 6 year old.

The reason I find it's inclusion here offensive is because the primary intent of the blogger is to insult Christians.   We can debate the merits of the Bible and Christianity (or their lack) without resorting to  this kind of "pie in the face" approach.

I usually like TGS's posts, but this one goes a bit too far.
