 Officer Eddy is doing well, both physically and mentally. He is doing physical therapy as a result of his injury.

 Thanks OB56 - was wondering myself how officer Eddy is doing.  He'll be back!  You guys are too tuff to keep down for very long!  I worked with BPD academy guys for almost 4 years via Bakersfield College Public Safety/Fire Tech program - great bunch of guys.  Has anyone heard how Officer Matt Peery is doing?  He went to Iraq with another officer and I haven't heard anything since.

 the investigation is taking so long becuz the bpd cant get their story straight. i hate to say it but they murdered the guy.

My thoughts exactly. Does the BPD have a deadline? This is wrong. If this man was murdered....... cops need to be arrested.

 Witter, Officers Peery and Ramos are doing great too. They send pictures and e-mails from Iraq frequently. They say it's like another world, which it is.  

timec, there is no official deadline to completing a thorough investigation. Heck, just the other day it was announced the police arrested that black thug Philip Ellison in California City for raping and murdering his niece a year after the crime. Good things come to those who are patient....

And you just keep wondering if Anderson was murdered.

 What investigation this was a good hit, contract completed what else matters. It is done get over it, life as it should be and we all agree don't we, of course we do.

The maggot who killed his niece needs to just be taken out back and hung......by his n**s  How sick is that - it is bad enough when people kill randomly but to do that to a 14 yr old little girl AND a relative..............that is just sick.

There are many open cases from people being murdered...leon wasn't murdered.  This should be an open/shut case, x-convict on parole with a gun, tried to "kill" our local officers and instead lost his life in the battle.  So sorry, NOT!

And timec, lets say, just if, in a fantasy world, Ellison did rape and kill that little girl, even in KC, would you be okay with him being found guilty? Or does the fact he's dark skinned negate that?

 We are all great men, just a little nutty, well actually fruitcakes.

 We ask the police regularly about the status of the investigation. What is taking so long is that a lot of shots were fired and each one has to be accounted for. Plus, all witness statements have to be thoroughly investigated to determine their veracity.

I would rather the investigation be thorough and complete than quick with unanswered questions. So stay tuned. We'll let you know.

I would convict Ellison just as fast as I would convict you for the murder of a 14 year old girl...black or white.

 timec, what you say varies depending on the post. You say no black person can get a fair trial or deal in KC, yet many of the juries that convict black defendants have blacks on them. It doesn't make sense. Or could it be they are regular citizens who listen to the evidence and base their decisions on that alone, like the law requires?
