Without a doubt ag work is part time in nature. It is also difficult work.

For those very reasons. Ag work should be a high paying job.

No matter your product. It is important that you have skilled employees that will complete their task in a manner that produces a good product. This requires a experienced steady workforce.

In the 60's I started working ag jobs on the weekends just before schools end. I worked through the summer and sawdusted grape boxes during Christmas vacation. I always earned over 4000 dollars a year.

I was making 700 dollars/week. This was at a time when the minimum wage was $1.10/ hour. $45/week. Less than $2300/year. Part time ag jobs paid enough to live comfortably for the entire year. I never had a after school job while in high school or college.

Ag job wages are low today. Because the criminal element has entered both sides of the employment sector. Both the criminal labor contractor and the illegal immigrant have joined forces to drive down wages.

This criminal element will do all they can to ensure wages are kept low so that they can prosper.

No matter the law. This criminality will always produce illegal papers. More illegal immigration, more people living in the shadows.

No bill. No piece of paper No supposed scholars boisterous words will change that.

This criminality has extended into all labor workplaces. This has to stop. Those employers that hire the illegals. Are either greedy or incompetent.

No part of capitalism endorses criminality. No part of democracy bows to the crime bosses.

I-PHONE $600.00 bucks?

And not 3G compatible? What a total waste of time and money.

Internet speeds will be below 100kbs. Useless if you are used to the broadband experience.

3G laptop adapters are available for $50 bucks and you will get up to 1.5 MB. Plus you get a real keyboard. That can be used for real work and entertainment.

Continued employment of illegals.

Is the death to prosperity for the common man in America.

Employing illegals is not employment where no others will do the job. It is cheating the system of fairness expected of all in America.

It is no different than jumping the starters pistol in a 100 yard dash. With the judges in blinders, focused on the finish line not the start.

It is collecting a profit on the sweat and blood of a human being. Before an product is produced.

It is the rustling of human flesh into a bullring of corruption and greed.

There is no honesty to the proclamations of the religious. When they put such focus on a piece of paper, The Scarlet 'C'.

Suggesting that this paper idol called citizenship, would cure the sick and educate the young. Is dishonest if not immoral.

Cure the greed that prevents the illegal from succeeding.

Cure the Greed both here in America. And in the illegals homeland.

The immigration bill is amnesty for the coyote employer. It will relieve them of the crimes that they have committed against the security of America. It will allow them to continue to hire workers from a employee pool that had it's origination in the criminal act of illegal immigration and it's accompanying fraud required of the illegal to obtain employment in America.

The coyote employer has no intention or desire to stop the processes of illegal immigration. They only want to legalize those already in their employ. While still allowing more illegal immigration for the purpose of a continuation of the inflated employee pool.

The mere presence of these illegals in the shadows will continue to promote the fear of job loss. Fear even for those illegals that have been awarded the scarlet 'C'.

Without mandatory jail time for the coyote employer. Steinbecks 'Grapes of Wrath” will live for ever in the San Joaquin valley.

It is more important that we legitimize the illegal as a human being deserving of a helping hand up. Than it is to processes him like cattle and hand him a citizenship paper.

 Immigration letter to Sen. Feinstein.

Yours and the Federal governments history is one of complete disregard for enforcement of ANY immigration bill.

You must enforce current laws in order that you receive any respect for future changes to the immigration law.

Monetary fines for employers is a completely unacceptable solution for deterring the coyote employer.

There must be mandatory minimum jail time for the hiring of illegal immigrants.

It is the offering of a job that attracts the illegals. The illegal does not come to America to swelter in the lettuce fields. He comes knowing that if he offers his labor at ridiculously low rates. He will undercut all legal possible employees.

The field work is only a stopping off point. A place to dwell while waiting on the construction contractor outside the doors of Lowe's and Home Depot.

What we have come to today in this legislation. Is a Employer amnesty program. That is completely unacceptable to those of us Americans that are seeking America's security and the promotion of obedience to the law that must happen in order that capitalism should survive.

Those criminal employers that hire the illegals not only harm the American working public. But also the employer who will not allow greed to engulf his morality. An employer who would obey the law even to his own detriment.

In just five short months. The unemployment rate in Lamont, Arvin, Delano and dozens of other California cities will approach 40%. How can you argue that there is a need for quest workers??

California must do it's best to make farm labor a full time job. Instead of part time.

Wages for Farm labor must be increased in recognition of the fact that America will no longer accept the disrespect shown to human life. The rustling of humanity into despair. Juicing the illegals blood into cash.

Draining it like the corporate farms grapes. Without thought. With no emotion except for greed.

We have today another century to eliminate the reality portrayed in Steinbecks, ” Grapes of Wrath”.

Don't just change for the sake of change.

Be a part of the change to good.

A path to freedom for the illegals is not the monumental problem that you might think it is.

Eliminate the criminal employer with the imposition of jail time..

Increases wages so that full time farm employees can materialize.

Insure that back ground check are sufficient to prohibit the legalization of troublesome criminals.

REAL EARNINGS IN APRIL 2007

Real average weekly earnings fell by 0.5 percent from March to April after

seasonal adjustment, according to preliminary data released today by the Bureau

of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor. A 0.3 percent decline in

average weekly hours and a 0.5 percent increase in the Consumer Price Index for

Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) were partially offset by a 0.2

percent rise in average hourly earnings.

Data on average weekly earnings are collected from the payroll reports of

private nonfarm establishments. Earnings of both full-time and part-time

workers holding production or nonsupervisory jobs are included. Real average

weekly earnings are calculated by adjusting earnings in current dollars for

changes in the CPI-W.

Average weekly earnings rose by 3.4 percent, seasonally adjusted, from

April 2006 to April 2007. After deflation by the CPI-W, average weekly earnings

increased by 0.9 percent. Before adjustment for seasonal change and inflation,

average weekly earnings were $589.90 in April 2007, compared with $566.81 a year

earlier.
