Don't tell me, let me guess: Fox News is objective, unbiased and factual. Its reputation to the contrary is a liberal smear campaign. The National Enquirer has the same problem. So does Jerry Springer. posted by

I read the aricle and found it interesting, although a little slanted in favor of Fox. So I decided to go to the humanevents.com website to check it out. Lo and behold, it is described as "the conservative underground". Just the type of non-biased, fair and balanced site I would go to to get a report on the WH and Fox News. Witter, try checking out some of the outrageous things that have been on Fox and gone un-corrected and ask yourself if you would want to use them for information. If you do, that is certainly your privalege, but if you do, I shall in the future all your opinions as suspect.

Witters, I have to agree with Pogo. It would be to your benefit to consider your sources first. (You've been improving, really! hee hee :) Many of the people who contribute to Human Events would be more than happy to throw me in jail for being a Witch or an uppity liberated woman. If I would be in such danger, you wouldn't be all too safe, either. :)

I shall in the future all your opinions as suspect. My opinions are just that.....................mine. don't like them don't read the blog and certainly don't comment. Kind of like the TV - don't like the program, change the channel.I have watched MSNBC-FOX-CNN and lo' and behold they each have their own agenda - surprise, surprise. I find MSNBC to be just as liberal leaning as you find Fox conservative leaning. sooooo - the point would be what??? Again - don't like it - change the channel or turn it off! THAT is called 'choice'. SPAM CODE: I UZZ U <----WHAT A HOOT!!!! posted by

Witters, I am not commenting on your opinion, just your citation. I usually value your opinion, even though we don't always agree on politics. You are not one of these posters (Pax) who contiually cite some obscure web site as gospel. I was just a little shocked when I checked it out. I watch Fox sometimes, especially Shep Smith, I believe that I should be informed on both sides of questions. We all tend to watch what we agree with, makes us more comfotable in our skin. posted by

What are the facts here? Has the White House ordered people to stay off Fox news or not? "a “Fox Summit” between Roger Ailes, chairman of Fox News, and David Axelrod, senior adviser to President Obama, Fox News was told they wouldn’t get to conduct any Obama interviews in the foreseeable future and all members of the administration, from the top down, were ordered to stay off Fox News." Is that true or not? If both are true, then you can ignore the opinions and the rhetoric but what about the president of the USA unning a blockade on a major news channel? Is that the "American" way? posted by

Nancy, I don't know if it is true or not, I am googling like mad to find out. If it is true, so much for "Transparancy"

This is what I found at first look
Roger Ailes, David Axelrod Have A 'Cordial Conversation' in ManhattanBy Chris Ariens on Oct 06, 2009 05:19 PMPolitico reports White House senior adviser David Axelrod met with Fox News founder and chairman Roger Ailes when Pres. Obama was in New York during the UN General Assembly two weeks ago. The two discussed news coverage and the relationship between the organizations. An FNC spokesperson tells POLITICO that Ailes and Axelrod had a "cordial conversation" over coffee... During the month of September, Fox News passed on carrying certain speeches from the president. Interestingly, on the Saturday following the Axelrod-Ailes Manhattan chat, Fox News carried Pres. Obama's entire speech at a Congressional Black Caucus event, while MSNBC and CNN did not. posted by

I just know one thing, WP, and that is that blackballing Fox was the best advertisement Fox could get. To think that you were the one really major news channel not to be graced by the presence of you-know-who. One might conclude that y-k-w was simply too scared to sit down with someone who didn't get that special tingle up their leg. posted by

Fox should be proud to be on 0bama's enemy's list. They earned it with videos of White House Communications Director Anita Dunn saying that Chairman Mao Tse Tung was one of her favorite philosophers while looking like she'd been mainlining crystal meth for days before her speech. How many of his own countrymen's deaths was Mao responsible for? And now he has admirers in the White House. posted by

From all I have watched of Beck, he proves what he says through videos of the culprit's themselves. Can't get much better proof then the person themselves doing the speaking. This administration is Ugly! Good going WP!

I've been to dinner, a staff meeting, a trip to the bank and I'm still waiting for someone on the left to disprove the article. When discounting a story because of it's source, be sure the article itself is wrong otherwise it doesn't matter if the source is right wing. posted by

President Obama doesn't need an enemies list, at least not one with anybody on the right. If anything happens to the man it will probably come from within his own ranks. Look at the freakazoids he surrounds himself with: Marxists, radicals, and mad bombers, all of to whom he is indebted. He had better not renege on any promises to that bunch of mobsters. The latest being Anita Dunn the Chairman Mao lover whose tongue darts out involuntarily and then she begins a chewing action like she had just speared a fly on which to dine! I didn't want to look at her but I was compelled to out of morbid curiosity. She gave that speech in front of a group of high-schoolers and I'll just bet the front row was mocking that tongue-flicking action of hers. spam code: WDBUG posted by

Gee Nancy, I thought I posted something yesterday that said the meeting was friendly and that Fox immediately covered POTUS. Guess you missed that one. As for the rest of it, I am happy for you on the Right that you have something to congratulate yourselves on. Have fun. I am in deep, deep mourning over the OU-Texas game, so cannot be bothered with the usual political drival from both sides. Woe is me for another year. How long Lord, How Long?
