Obama camp lies about Daddy Yankee endorsement because Daddy Yankee likes McCain more

Lol So let me get this strait if you criticize Obama or vote for him and are white, you’re a racist, and if your don’t endorse him it’s only because Obama rejected you?!!!!

That’s the warning from John McCain’s campaign after The Politico.com quoted a Democratic Party source saying Daddy Yankee approached Barack Obama’s campaign earlier this year offering an endorsement but did not pass the campaign’s vetting process and was rejected because of his racy lyrics and an assault charge against him.

The Latino singer, whose real name is Ramon Ayala, endorsed McCain on Monday.

A McCain aide responded that the Obama camp ought to be careful what fights it chooses to pick.

“I would say they shouldn’t mess with Daddy Yankee,” the aide said. “They have their own rappers that support him and the truth is (Daddy Yankee)’s incredibly popular in the Hispanic community and across the country, and, they need to be able, they need to take, they need to take it easy on the Yankee.”

Yankee’s publicist Mayna Nevarez also called the Obama camp’s claim “completely, completely false.”

“I have no idea where this rumor came from,” Nevarez told FOX News. “The musician and his camp never approached or in anyway asked the Obama campaign about a possible endorsement.”

Nevarez said the Daddy Yankee-McCain relationship goes back two or three years to when the Reggaeton megastar and presumptive Republican presidential nominee met at an event to note Time magazine’s 100 most influential people.

They
arrived at the location at the same time and started a conversation.
McCain, a boxing fanatic, and Ayala, a former boxer, immediately hit it
off.

Bill Clinton all but endorses McCain, saying Obama can't deliver

The former president, speaking in Denver, posed a hypothetical question in which he seemed to suggest that that the Democratic Party was making a mistake in choosing Obama as its presidential nominee.

He said: "Suppose you're a voter, and you've got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don't think that candidate can deliver on anything at all. Candidate Y you agree with on about half the issues, but he can deliver. Which candidate are you going to vote for?"

Then, perhaps mindful of how his off-the-cuff remarks might be taken, Clinton added after a pause: "This has nothing to do with what's going on now."

The Surge Worked call Obama and tell him

Look the fact is the Surge worked, even now our Military is letting troops come home, Iraq is stabilizing and our pull out seems to be set. Our Troops are coming home with Victory and with Honor. We did not just abandon Iraq like Obama tried to legislate.

Obama said the surge wouldn't work, that it would actually make things worse. He was wrong, yet he remains proud of his foolishness.

I am an Iraq Vet, and like thoughs in the add, I know it worked. My friend over sea's know it worked. I never thought of it, but maybe we just need to tell Obama it worked and he will be able to see that.

I ask because it seems like there was alot of talk about Gore won the pop vote and it was unfair that bush beat him.

Now Obama stole the Nomination from Clinton and its OK cause he had more delegates...but Clinton had the Pop vote...

I just don't get it, which way do you want it?

A black delegate from Chicago who is supporting Hillary Clinton has claimed Barack Obama’s mentor called her an “Uncle Tom.

The Chicago Sun Times reported Monday that two aldermen said they heard Emil Jones, who is also black, call political consultant Delmarie Cobb the racist term, but they thought he was joking.

“Last night, I was called an ‘Uncle Tom’ by Emil Jones in the lobby of the hotel, right in front of Freddrenna Lyle and Leslie Hairston and Latasha Thomas,” said Cobb, a member of Clinton’s Illinois Steering Committee, according to the newspaper. “I walked over to him and asked him, ‘What did you just call me?’”

Lyle dismissed the exchange and gently scolded Jones, but Cobb said she has gotten considerable flak in the African-American community because of her solid support for Clinton, the Sun-Times wrote.

Its not so fun when your attacked by the far left is it Dems?

Don't worry unlike Obama and his supporters, we actually think like your candidate and supporters deserve respect. We have a lot of respect for Clinton and everything she has accomplished and wish that we could have had a respectful debate for the Presidency.

When Hillery said that their is too much as stake, and that we deserve to talk about issues and the problems that face out nation, we agreed.

There is a reason Hillary likes McCain more than Obama, and there is a reason so many of you feel the same way.

Look Clinton won about half of the Votes needed and then was pushed out by the Press and Obama machine that acted like they won by a landslide, and after all that they didn't pick her as VP!!!??!

If it wasn't for the race baiting and the unfair Media we could have had a debate from McCain and Hillery and let me tell you I don't think Clinton wold have been afraid to debate John McCain, she would have stood up for what she believes.

Hillary was the better nominee, but your party was hijacked and now is trying to put and unqualified man in to the White House.

CNN) — Well over two months have passed since Hillary Clinton formally abandoned her White House bid, but newly-released Federal Election Commission reports show the New York senator has made little headway in paying off her sizeable campaign debt.

According to an FEC report filed Wednesday, Clinton's debt as of the end of July stood at just under $24 million — a decrease of only $1.2 million since the end of June. More than $13 million of that total is owed to the New York senator herself, while close to $11 million is owed to individual vendors. Clinton has suggested she is not seeking to pay back the money she owes herself.

The report also shows Clinton was only able to raise $2 million in the month of July — down from close to $3 million in June. By comparison, Barack Obama raised over $50 million for his White House bid in the same time period.

The report comes as some high-profile Clinton backers have expressed disappointment Obama has not made more of an effort to help his onetime rival retire her campaign debt.

“He has provided her with a pittance compared to what the Clintons have given Obama,” prominent Clinton backer Lynn Forrester told the Times of London. “Her debt could have been cleared within 10 days. It’s ungracious.”

Obama and Clinton have appeared at a handful of joint fundraising events, and the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has publicly urged his supporters to donate to his former primary season rival — though at a joint appearance with Clinton at a July fundraiser, the Illinois senator forgot to call on his backers to contribute to her. (He later went back on stage to correct himself.)

According to Clinton's disclosure forms filed Thursday, she owes the most ($5.2 million) to her former top advisor Mark Penn's polling/political consulting firm, Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he cant stand McCain because he cant stand him and think he get upset to much, doesn't have the "temperament" to be commander in chief.

Hey Harry, you want to talk temperament, how bout a Sitting Majority Leader that Declaring on national TV that our Country has lost a war because he's upset the President didn't listen to him is legislate failure in Iraq
