Date:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tuesday, May 20, 2008 Time:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 4:53:57 AM Department contact: Sgt Ed Komin Phone: Case #: SR0816649 Details: On 5-20-08 at approximately 0145 hours, Deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office were called to the area of E. Warren Ave and Wisteria Ave to investigate a possible stabbing.&nbsp; Deputies arrived and found Preston Worthey ,age 38, from Bakersfield suffering from several stab wounds to the upper body.&nbsp; Worthey was transported to Kern Medical Center where he is being treated. Deputies have not obtained any suspect information at this time.&nbsp; This investigation is continuing.
