Honestly,

Marijuana growing indoors can be hazardous - electrical fires, though, not chemicals. Marijuana growing is not meth production.

In fact, it has been illegal since only 1937 - before, it was grown and used for centuries. And, we did it safely; we made clothes and paper and rope and, among many other things, medicine from it.

Did you know marijuana seeds used to be a common food substance (crushed into meal)? Yes, marijuana seed pancakes.

My suggestion to removing potentially hazardous indoor marijuana grows is decriminalization. The prohibition of it has never made sense anyway.

Illegal is illegal, no matter how you look at it.

I look at it this way: if it were not illegal, those plants would've been in the back yard consuming sunlight. If she were growing apples and oranges under those grow lights, it would present exactly the same "danger" to her neighbors.

You seem to have missed the point of this blog. The supposed danger justifying the illegality is *ENTIRELY* caused by the illegality. And if you think either California or the nation has the resources to waste busting pot growers, I direct your attention to the budget problems at both levels.
