As the battle against Scientology continues to wage on, more and more of its insanities are coming to light.

A leaked video recently surfaced on Youtube from a large scientology conference in which the current head of the cult, David Miscavige, is shown outlining his strategies for the "global obliteration of Psychiatry". It also details how they are trying to disseminate a book of Scientology propaganda entitled "The Way to Happiness" boasting how the book has replaced all of the Gideon Bibles in one posh Colorado Hotel.

Disturbingly, David Miscavige reveals the extent of Scientology's corporate tie-ins, claiming that the Coca-Cola corporation, 7-Eleven, and Dell Computers have been instrumental in helping distribute Cult literature.

Using apocalyptic terminology and violent image, David Miscavige shows in detail how the Cult of Scientology has waged a covert war to sway public opinion on the field of psychiatry.

Why the hatred of psychiatry? For one, Scientology is big business and any competition to their claim of being the "Authorities on the Mind" is a financial threat to their Empire. Another reason has to do with their twisted Sci-Fi belief system. To them, Psychiatrists are part of a conspiracy against the human race that spans billions of years.

10th of February - Anonymous takes on the Cult of Scientology

By now you may of heard about the ongoing battle between the Cult of Scientology and a group which calls itself Anonymous. In case you haven't here is a little background...

A couple of weeks ago a video was posted on YouTube of Tom Cruise looking insane and muttering barely comprehensible drivel about the supposed benefits of Scientology. He said some pretty outrageous and hilarious things like:

"Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident, it’s not like anyone else. As you drive past, you know you have to do something about it, because you know you’re the only one that can really help..."

And...

"We are the authorities in getting people off drugs. We are the authorities on the mind. We are the authorities on improving conditions. Criminals, we can rehabilitate criminals. Way to happiness, we can bring peace and unite cultures.."

Oh..and this one...

"And I won’t hesitate to put ethics in someone else"

Well...the Cult responded like it always does...it tried to strong-arm YouTube to take the video down by unleashing its attorneys on the site. This was a bit too much for Anonymous who responded with a very provocative call to arms video which you can see here:

It should be noted that Anonymous isn't the monolithic organization of dangerous hackers that some sources claim. Its a loose affiliation of like minded individuals from all walks of life.

The video was followed by a series of Internet assaults which effectively shut down Scientology websites for awhile. Pretty funny in light of the Cult's well documented history of suppressing any criticism of itself. What's not funny is the many lives that the Cult has destroyed through its draconian tactics of harassment. The Cult will attempt to sue, stalk, harass and threaten anybody they perceive as a threat...and they have been doing it for a long time. You can read about it here:

What started out as an Internet prank by Anonymous slowly grew into something more. They read about the many people who have died as a result of the Cult's dangerous teachings. People who needed medications but were told that Psychiatric treatment was Evil. People who were kept against their will...horror story after horror story. You can read their stories here:

Amazingly, what started out as a prank has grown into a world-wide movement and now all across the world on Feb. 10th, in honor of Lisa McPherson, a young woman who tragically lost her life because of the Cult of Scientology, people will be gathering outside of Scientology centers to make their voices heard...
