Unfortunately, the show was cancelled so we'll have to draw our own conclusions.</p> <p>It didn't do well, but I'm a sucker for the Deadwoodesque dialog. The guy who did Deadwood produced it, and it was chock fulla Deadwood alumnist. For Deadwood fans, they are talking about a Deadwood movie now.</p> <p>The character Kai on the show is a real surfing champion, and Shauny is the real grandson of the family the series was modeled after.
