I just realized Steve hasn't been posting in the blogs for a while. Hope he's doing ok, and just wanted to say I miss his witty comments (along with Scary Mary's).

Bless your heart for asking.

Mary and I are still here. We went fishing in the Eastern Sierra last week. Mary caught the biggest fish and was the only one to catch her limit. But I caught more -- 10 to her 7. We ate three of the trout the other night and they were good. This on top of seeing a bald eagle, a bunch of deer, a little bunny at our Convict Lake campsite and a coyote which ran right in front of us on Highway 395.

My assignment has changed to where I am covering the courts and news feature stories. This has greatly reduced my blogging time, but I still look at them every day and occasionally, I author a breaking news team blog.

So I'm still here lurking.
