I dunno thats a hard question.. you can only help people if they want help.. and it seems like the homeless shelter does a good job.. my heart definitely goes out to them with the extreme weather here and the suffering they endure.

<div>The paper ran reports from the shelters set up&nbsp; during the cold (warming stations?). and it seems they had a very low turnout.&nbsp; People who live on the street just don't want to be penned in.&nbsp; We think we know what they want and wahts best for them but not a person here can say they walked in those folks shoes and know what they want.&nbsp;&nbsp; It's pretty obvious that, for the most part, they want you to give them a few bucks, they want to know where they can get a hot meal when they want it, and they want us to let them live the way they want to live.&nbsp; Not everyone wants to be &quot;saved&quot; from themselves.</div>
