 palinfam.jpg web Obama's followers disrespect him by ignoring his admonishment http://people.bakersfield.com/home/Blog/blognroll/32918 http://people.bakersfield.com/home/Blog/blognroll/32918 <p>Apparently, Obama lacks clout or authority even among his own supporters.&nbsp; They don't seem to respect him very much.&nbsp; Surf the web, and you'll notice that they've largely ignored his admonishing words regarding Palin, and the tasteless public trashing of her family over the pregnancy of her daughter.&nbsp;</p> <p>Not only is this persistent effort to discredit Palin on the basis of private family matters disrespectful to Palin and her family,&nbsp;it is&nbsp;disrespectful to the man who, along with Senator Biden,&nbsp;is trying to run against the McCain/Palin team.&nbsp; To all of you Democrats who insist on going after Palin's family, I ask you the rhetorical question:&nbsp;Just who's side are you on?&nbsp; Apparently, neither&nbsp;one.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

Bush is one of the greatest presidents we've ever had, but everybody, (including many pathetically weak, disloyal Republicans that have fallen for the &quot;Bush-is-Hitler-lite-left-wing propaganda BS), have been trashing him ever since we went into Iraq.</p> <p>When Moses led God's people out of the land of Egypt to the promised land, all they did was grumble.&nbsp; Bush held America's hand and got us through 9/11.&nbsp; Under his administration, we got rid of Saddam, one of the most horrible human beings on the face of the earth, along with plenty of other terrorists close to Osama bin Laden.&nbsp;</p> <p>He's kept this country free from another terrorist attack. &nbsp;He's been great for the unborn, and he's done a lot for the environment.&nbsp; He's even shifted our focus from gasoline to alternative fuels at a time when we need that focus shifted.&nbsp; He's a great President, even if he's made mistakes.&nbsp; If I were McCain, I'd be proud to be associated with him.&nbsp;</p> <p>He's had to do all of this, all without the confidence of much of the nation, being attacked from every side on a daily basis.&nbsp;</p> <p>Let's stop trashing the President and be proud of his accomplishments.&nbsp; If I could, I'd vote for him again if he could run, wouldn't you?&nbsp;</p>
