I didn't ask him about Hillside or Johnson; those have been beaten to death, and will continue to be. Here's his response: James – You have selected four people out of the hundreds of telephone calls and other contacts I’ve had over the past 18 months. I hardly believe that is a fair sample. I make every effort to return calls in a timely manner. Sometimes, the messages are not audible due to a poor connection. Also, there are times when people call and do not leave their name or contact information. On a rare occasion, what a person wants simply cannot be done or the person does not like the answer that they received. Ninety-nine percent of the time I am able to provide assistance to those who call me and that gives me great satisfaction as their councilman. As for Mr. Winn, I went to great lengths to meet with him and spent a significant amount of time listening to him one-on-one. Other than he wants taxes raised in the form of a development fee, he was not able to articulate anything substantive that he wanted. So I probably can't make Mr. Winn happy. I've proven that I am willing to listen and am happy to discuss issues with people.
