A meeting of a World Champion

I met with Don "The Dragon" Wilson yesterday morning in Watagua, Texas.

We talked and did some actor training and I obtained some secret tips.

It looks very good and positive I might be in California in his next film in 2009.

It was great news to talk to him and know he is coming out of retirement. He is a multiple martial arts world wide champion.

I was humbly honored to meet him and listen to how it all started.

FYI:

I'm a 2007 Octagon Open Karate Champion, Irving, Texas ( In my Age Division 35 and over) I competed and won at 54 years old in sparring and kata. I trained for physical fitness and flexibility now at the Texas Karate Organization better known as the TKO with my Master Dewey Sutton.

Martial arts have given me back some of my quality of life after suffering from my military injuries and surgery.

If your not in martial arts and have problems with your back , muscles and flexibility; I recommend it and a good chiropractor. I still have limitations as you can’t repair permanent damage.

But it's better than being crippled, lying around and bitching about it. I did something about it.

Then the weight loss also gives you great benefits.

I don't care what they say; weight loss comes by stuffing your face with less junk food and eatting a good diet and exercise. There's no good way about it. It's work.

( I still like a Krispy Kreme once in a great while). I'm not a oak.

The Deadening

I have just been cast as the TALL MAN in the feature film "The Deadening" as a Texas Ranger. The film is about some murders. No spoilers from me as I'm under contract.

Todate: I have three films I'm acting in. 2 start this year and run into next year 2009.

Casted in "The Fifth"

I have been cast in the feature film and now all the major parts are filled!

The producers are currently in the process of getting the budget, wardrobe, props, equipment, crew, and SAG contract ready for December. I have the script and reading and reading to get all my scenes down and get my character (Tim Barr) together.

I may or may not use a accent. I have not decided, though I did use a accent when I auditioned for a role.

I just filming in The Innocence Saga *Episode 9 "Against the Wind" (2008) as Sheriff Behan in a Supporting role on Ponderous Productions film shooting outside of Austin, TX in a Ghost Town directed and written by Brett William Mauser.

I have just recently been cast in the film project "The Killer's Reprieve" by Richard Cook and Matthew DeCample.

My role is Mr. Ambrose and bar and cocktail lounge owner.

During these next couple of weeks, I am getting my character, research, back-story, memory work done.

“Revenge with No Regard”

I met with the director and the contract was signed. I have the script and now learning my lines.

This indie film is still in the pre-production phase.

I am -the southern gambler- tossing the all in chips on the Texas Hold'em table with all the bling and the beautiful women on my shoulder. There are three different versions of this commercial out on television on the national circuit. This was for the Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Okalahoma.

Cast: Revenge with "No Regard"

I have been recently cast in principal role in “Revenge with No Regard". This is an indie full length feature film directed by Eloy Martinez.

I was cast in the principal role of Anastasio Rivera (the crime boss of south Texas ranch drug trafficking ring).

Filiming will begin this June.

Bollywood Beats (2008)

I just completed a movie shoot at Fort Worth, Texas. I was casted as an -Dance Judge-, in the feature film Bollywood Beats(2008).

The location of the shoot was the Rose Marine Theater.

It was fun on this shoot, everyone worked as a team.

Aladdin Bail Bonds TV Commercial

Aladdin Bail Bonds TV commercial is now airing on the west coast.

Aladdin Bail Bonds is one of the largest and most professional bail bond companies in the country.

We were rushing the bank. It was a excellent and fun shoot.

But it was a very hot day in Texas though.

Choctaw Casino & Resort TV Commercial

I just finished the Choctaw Casino & Resort TV Commercial.

I was the "Southern Gambler" with all the bling. I worked with these excellent actors.

The accommodations at the Choctaw Casino are excellent.

If you get the chance to go there for a show or just gamble and have fun. This is a excellent place to go.

My Point Of View

I am never satisfied Category: Life

I am never satisfied, and I'm always on the 'Quest to Perfection'. Nobody should doubt my abilities in any of my undertakings. Don't look back to see me, but look forward to see and follow the dust of the pathway I just blazed. Chapter of Bob~

Well there appears to be some people who have nothing to do but make critical remarks on success, they have no idea what work and how difficult it is in showbiz. Rewards are few, rejections are many.

Well, I served in the military from date reaching back to 1972 to 1989 as a “Corpsman” serving with the US Marine the most elite fight men in the world and the last three years with the US Army as a “Medic” with 2^nd Infantry Division in Korea, succumbed to a back and feet injures in an Airborne unit. During my time of service I suffered a broken right hand, fracture feet, damaged right knee, and right arm.

But I fought for the right to give them to have the freedom to criticize. So I defend your right.

I will exercise my right in a moment.

Then I served the public for another 17 years in public service. As a CDF Firefighter for two years who suffered a fall down a 100 feet embankment in a Big Sur Fire (Molera Fire) and nearly died in a rekindle in the same fire with my crew. I fought the high trees 90’ -100’ fires called the 49er Fire.

Then successfully served with the Monterey County District Attorney Office for 15 years in the “Child Support Division” as an Enforcement Officer and was instrumental committee member in the drafting and implementing the “National Medical Support Notice” when I was appointed on the committee in Washington DC for 2 years for children’s health insurance.

I have many awards, commendations, and letters of accomplishments before my final contritely retirement.

Every morning when I get up and can’t walk and have to live on pain medications at time to make it thought the day I look back on successes and sacrifices.

Being a deliberate man as I am, I strive not to give in to defeat, I’m a trained winner.

Now I’m into the infancy of my third career in “Acting”. Where my reward wall is numerous in the “rejections” and with a few accomplishments, but I’m just getting started.

I share this on my own blog and they criticized and make fun of it.

To you, I proudly say “Go to Hell”!

You have not done much!

Between the Line

I just been cast in a Christian film as the character Fletcher in "Between the Line" this Sunday night.

Fletcher is a very important part of the film, and the dialogue has a positive and touching impact. ( I am wise and have wisdom in a country setting helping a struggling Christian in flesh vs. spirit
state of affairs.)

This film is currently in pre-production, but it will be film some where in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area.
