The new community training will include how to: -- escape, take cover and hide -- make your body a smaller target -- recognize opportunities to seize a weapon or overpower a gunman -- make an effective 911 call for help -- describe a suspect -- follow police direction Also, from the release: "A shooting incident is among the top five hazards identified for this campus." "The training at times could be unsettling for some. It includes a recording of a 911 call made from the school library during the 1999 massacre at Columbine High School ..." What do you think?
