I had a roommate years ago who would smoke a couple of pipefuls of the stuff before going to bed because it relaxed him, but the stuff had the opposite effect on me. I tried pot about a dozen times before it finally struck me one day that, &quot;I don't like this stuff.&quot; I get extremely edgy and irritable when I smoke that stuff, which is why I haven't done so since 1987. I can't even sit in the same room when someone is smoking it, because the second-hand smoke gets me.</p> <p>Booze has different effects on different people; some people become friendly when they drink, others want to fight.
