Perhaps dying of old age in prison is the worse punishment. As far as I know, Manson and his accomplices have never expressed regret for those brutal, senseless murders. (Some have denied ever killing anyone--they just happened to be on the scene.)</p> <p>A young handyman/caretaker on the property was asleep in a seperate building when the crime took place. Had he awoke and investigated, he surely would have been an additional victim. Likewise, so would movie celeb Steve McQueen.
