I certainly remember the Idlewild.&nbsp; I remember when there were 3 bars on main street. Now there is possibly one.&nbsp;&nbsp; Bars have been replaced by knicknack shops and art galleries.<br /> <br /> &nbsp; A friend of mine commented that Bakersfield was an overgrown Gillette...
