Guild House Gourmet Luncheons

Guild House is unique as we are an entirely volunteer organization, without any paid staff. Running a restaurant takes enormous planning and work. We currently have about 150 women and men who volunteer their time to work at Guild House as cooks, hostesses, servers, and dishwashers. We are always in need of people who want to give something to their community and have some time to spare to work in our restaurant.

Founded in September 1958, the Guild’s main objective is to organize volunteers to conduct fundraising activities to assist and support the Henrietta Weill Memorial Child Guidance Clinic. Various fundraising events have been conducted by Guild volunteers, including theater parties, fashion shows, luncheons, as well as a door-to-door campaign known as “Operation Doorstep”.

Luncheon cost: $13.00 plus tax and gratuity

All lunches include: freshly made soup, entree and side salad or fresh vegetables in season, OR entree salad, home-made rolls or muffins, delicious dessert or sorbet, and beverage. Wine and beer are available at extra cost.

Advance reservations are requested but not required. Walk-ins welcome!

On Thursdays, Guild House presents fashion shows in which volunteers model clothing provided by local boutiques.
